  1. Mine's about the same as yours at 100 yards My target is bigger I think and the yellow splatter marks make the holes look closer anyway I'm sure everybody is sick of this photo.... sorry
  2. alot of us have butchered bulgarian HG Retainers to fit on without removing the FSB I'm not super happy with mine and if I had to do it again and I had the cash I would buy the one from Dinzag 1/2" tube?
  3. I had no interest in the one with two rails (not sure what I would put on that side rail) and I wanted the lightest mount that would work. So I forked over another $10. I like it. I modified mine to get better eye relief for a scope (which is what Bucky complained about). I will post a few pictures to show. jrmock what did you modify on it to extend the eye relief?
  4. I was more thinking about what you said earlier in the thread build a krink and pin a fake can on it that could be removed later without too much hassle
  5. I have that same one, but I got it off Ebay, direct from China for eight bucks I really like it, it's light, it has a quick release, and holds zero even when taking it off and putting it back on it was perfect for red dots, the only problem was I couldn't get a decent scope mounted forward enough to keep a good cheek weld so I got one of these beryl rails from DPH Arms and aside from the fact that I have to remove it (and lose zero) to clean it, I couldn't be happier It's really nice Apparently DPH is out of stock on those and is now offering a quick detach beryl rail a
  6. that's a lot of work and a lot of money to end up with a 16" barreled krink
  7. thanks! I bought my mag lock from them can I just chop off the barrel, change the stock and make a krink or do I need to buy a real barrel and stuff?
  8. aha! another way to rationalize the purchase of an S12!
  9. I think it's a wicked good self defense round I think it's a very accurate round but I haven't fired anything else through it to compare I posted a pic around here somewhere let me see if I can find it here it is... 100 yards, with a decent 14 power scope the upper left shots that are covered are from sighting it in
  10. I hit a coyote a month or so ago with the Wolf 60 grain hollow points and it just gutted it with one shot just blew it up my buddy got one with his AR that day and it just put a hole in it, not very scientific but the same thing happened on jack rabbits the wolf hollow point exploded them
  11. gawd I wish I could have one of those in California
  12. I absolutely love my 5.45 I almost put together another AR15 but glad I did the Saiga in 5.45 instead With a 16" barrel they are almost identical in recoil, noise, accuracy me and my buddy were out the other day, he had several FTF's with his AR and my Saiga functioned flawlessly I'm using a red dot now with one of those berryl rails and you'd really have to try hard to miss anything I don't ever recall seeing sportsman's guide out of stock on 5.45 I buy some almost every paycheck they got the 1080 spam cans for $151 club price but I always buy the wolf hollow point now I want an S1
  13. mine cracked the window in my jeep
