no , surprises i already removed mine and it was easy i put up a post about in here. the thread is vepr fcg. if i can find my camera i might make a video or take some pics of the install , its the same as the video above just that the retaining plate is just a litte different to get out, you wont mess it up.

i was going to suggest a video from youtube, but it is for saiga and ak variants , but this is a vepr the only real hard problem for the install is getting the retaining plate out it is different than a tapco or a krebs one. the vepr locks itself in, where as a tapco and krebs use the safety lever to lock it in. if i get the time and find a camera i will post something. but you should look at youtube or carolina shooting supplys video how tos on the top of the website page. but goto it shows the basic, at the end he installs a krebs retaing plate it is all most the same as the vepr but the
  10. i might go for the m4 style, cause the tapco stock that this thing came with and no bumbper on end killed my shoulder today, dreading tommorrow when i will really feel it. did the vltor one need any modification??
  11. shot today with about 30 rounds combo buck, slug and target. no fte or mag issues, was using the 5rd mag that came with the gun. forgot to put the poly choke on when i left for the range.
  12. now that i have seen the specs on paper i dont think that .2mm is going to make that much of a difference, i cant even tell looking at both barrels they just seem the same and the thread pitch is the same the poly choke just screwed right on with no issues. was going to the range today to test but other things came up so i have to wait for another day.
  13. i dont believe there is going to be an issue. the barrels seem to have the same id, now that i have said that i also havent seen any specs on paper of each barrel id either.but if you have the info post up please.
  14. just took my poly choke off my saiga 12 and it fits my vepr 12 with no issues, so i think i will get another one for the vepr12 . if you guys find any other parts that fit post'em up
  15. do you have pic of your vepr with it installed on?? if so please post it.
