I want to see some close up pics of the gas tube release mechanism. -

I'll take the Draco fsb! -
I picked Krebs for simplicity. I don't have experience with the mojo.

EAA is importing ZASTAVA (serbian) sporter AK's
PTGT_Neon replied to Reverendfranz's topic in Other AK Rifles
I bought a PAP with wood furniture and side rail. I'm in the middle of hogging out the front trunion to accept full size mags. Threading the barrel was straight forward. Knocking the front sight pin out was really easy. It required two springs for the pin though. CNC warrior has all the toys for the project. -
Not that set. The handguards are too long. And the stock has the curved end for the PSL.

Will those things fit a Vepr?

Thanks for the tip on Dinzag! It doesn't look like much trouble. http://www.dinzagarms.com/downloads/223_mag_options.pdf

I'm intrigued by the .223 Saiga. But I'd like it more if it could look more like the standard AK-74. Can the 74 magazines be adapted for use on the .223 rifles? If so, what would need to be done?

Don't forget about VEPRs in 308. They are well made RPKs with a heavy barrel. They're on gunbroker sometimes.

Oh I see . . you ruined it!

Read it and it doesn't answer my question

What is the best way to zero the PK-AS? I have the lateral adjustment tightened down. Should I zero the dot at 100 yards for the "0" detent? Or should the "0" detent be aligned with another distance? Should the lateral adjustment be tight? Or is it best to leave the left side loose enough to turn by hand?

That's also a nice scope. I've been considering that one too.

I'm curious if anyone has any experience using both POSP scope magnifications and if the 12x is much different than the 10x on the zoom. The specs show the fields of view are both about 20 degrees. Kalinka has a new 4-10x scope and it looks enticing: http://www.kalinkaoptics.com/rifle-scopes/posp/posp-4-10x42-d-variposp-w-variable-illuminated-us-mil-dot-reticle-independent-focus-side-weaver-rail-zoom-tactical-rifle-scope-svd-sks-version.html
