  1. March is the next expected date. Everyone is telling me the Saigas are going to be allot more than $400 and that's for the unconfigured ones. If you can wait a couple years the prices might fall.
  2. Feinswine needs to just fuck'n die already. They've been pumping her full of HGH and botox to keep her going. Stupid retard is like 90 already. Hopefully those chemicals start to rot her from the inside out. Just die. DIE. DIE!
  3. So do you have to put whatever you SBR into your blackbook and pay for the form 1 still?
  4. As far as I know the 7.62 and 5,45 barrels are the same size.
  5. Very cool. Can you look through the drill hole underneath you'll be able to tell if they made it 45 or 90? I have a Bulgy one laying around, it's a 90 you can tell.
  6. FS: I have a small bunch of the "heatshield" upper handguard, ventilated AK gastubes: ____________________________________________________________________________________ CURRENTLY AVAILABLE: Currently there are 11 available. - (8) Heavy Duty ones, $32 shipped each - (1) Lighter weight ones, $30 shipped each _____________________________________________________________________________________ MORE INFO: Heavy duty one's will weigh a tad more than the regular/lightweight ones. Heavy Duty ones are made with 06X-something commercial weight galvanized steel inch-and-three-eighths top
  7. FS: One US made (Guntec) tri-rail aluminum lower handguard - $50 shipped The GunTec lower handguard rail is aluminum and comes with different sized endplates to match different receivers it might be used with. For stamped receivers. Goes on like a regular handguard and you don't have to attach it to the barrel like MI rail or Ultimak does: Here it is with rubber grips thingy's on it: I liked it because you can still take the gastube on and off for cleaning but I'm only selling it since I'm not going to be shooting any more corrosive ammo so I don't care about removing the gastu
  8. I was going to do that on mine but got a Beryl folder instead. Totally worth the $ IMO. I pretty much buy all my parts excluseivly from other people. Dealers want to sell brand new stuff for the highest $.
  9. They have 180 days to come up with legislation allowing CC laws in IL, wondered if anyone knows the latest? Are they just going to wait 179 days and pass something at the last second or are they going to try and defy the courts and pull a New York on everyone?
  10. I did something similar, I took a 74 brake and drilled the middle out until a .30 bullet would pass through, then drilled it a little bigger after that. Since it was 24mm I got one of those adapters and actually welded it on so it's now one piece I can just unscrew from the regular left hand thread.
  11. 1) No but if you want to use the upper handguard then you'll need a regular gastube with the flanges for it. 2) Marketplace forums here or other AK forum sites. I never buy brand new parts, go for the stuff other people are selling themselves.
  12. The Saiga mags are higher or something when they sit in the receiver so the bullets go into the breech easier. Regular mags will be different so you need a guide/feedramp. I make my own from gaspipe and then tap or bolt them in (use loctite). You can tack weld them but don't get splash on anything important.
  13. I bought one of those Guntec lower handguards. Seems pretty decent so far. Anyone else have one? They are aluminum but pretty nice. I imagine they'd look better with a normal lower handguard retainer but meh:
  14. Is there any problem with using a gasblock with a porthole that has been drilled 90 degrees then pressing it onto a barrel with a 45 degree gasport in it? I am making an M-10 style rifle with a front sight/gas block combo that is drilled 90 but the 7.62x39 Izzy barrel, to my knowledge (don't have one in front of me), has a 45 degree gas port in it... Should be okay as long as the 45 leads right into the open 90, right?
  15. TFALAMO, what do you think of the stitching? Have you had any issues with the stitching coming apart in those cheaper ones? Why can't I spell corectrly.
  16. No, don't weld your retainer to your pins....
  17. Everytime I'm done shooting like you should, if you shoot the corrosive ammo like I do. That thing gets dirty as shit in there. It seems easy yeah but the point was to be able to remove it like normal, know what I mean?
  18. Yeah, I've seen the Eagle and I can't tell the difference just holding it either, but I haven't worn the Eagle. It holds plates and all the mag pouches I got so it will do what I need it to. I don't wear it everyday. I saw some cops are using the even cheaper one for duty gear too, lol. Wow. I agree that usually you get what you pay for but sometimes what you pay for is an over expensive version of something else that does the same job for less. I wouldn't go to war with it - but I don't plan on volunteering to do that for a corrupt administration anyway
  19. I am looking for a metal lower handguard with rails on it, I wanted to know if anyone knows of one that I can use a regular gastube with? I don't like the MI one's because you can't take the gastube off easily and quickly. The UTG pretty much the same problem... I've seen the Blackjack one - it's metal but I have been told you need the upper handguard to secure it for some reason. Are they any that exist where I can still use a regular gastube in conjunction with? I wonder if there are any long ones too, that extend tot he gasblock maybe? Thanks for any info.
