Got a quick-release molle plate carrier from CTD. Probably the only thing they have that is worth buying. They also have a regular one without the quick release for about $60 last time I checked. Same thing as the Eagle carrier except it's not made in US. Just as good though and my IIIa vest fits under the plates too. Check them out if you are like me and don't want straps and buckles hanging off of you everywhere.

Yep, distance and sanitation also. But unissued gasmasks with a good face seal are also a worthwhile investment. Tyvek suits aren't too expensive either. I think that if some superbug got loose you'd have to plan to get as far North as possible that the bugs won't survive but you stand a chance. Or dig in and hope your bunker has good enough filtration and circulation of air. Lol.

IL sucks. I have open land and love to shoot all the time and the damn ass neighbor called the county 6 @#$!'n times now. We are both getting tired of them. If it all collapses there's going to be a ton of idiots to deal with here. I get deer herds that wander through the yard, I can sit on the roof and pick them off. Lol. Preppers better prepare for biological and chemical threats more than anything because all the ammo and manpower in the state won't fight smallpox, ebola, or chems like corexit dumped into the wells.

Yeah, if they are designed with metal mags. I have a bunch of P-mags and they are "fatter" than the USGI metal ones. People have complained they don't fit into molle pouches right either, lol. Man I can't spell... -
Mine got a bit of a make-over... ... Beryl stock and underbarrel launcher... I took a Polish 26.5mm launcher apart and did some tinkering. I have to get a better clamp for attaching it but for now you get the idea. I used a rail on the top tapped into a welded square tube to the launcher to mount the aluminum rail. When I get a better clamp system going then the rails will interlock into each other and it wont hang down so much. It got pretty interesting. I couldn't shorten the handle any more than I have it but it stuck way down farther before cutting and welding i

It's a "dong' handguard. I had one on a rifle but sold it. They have the "reverse dong' one's for underfolders.

I cut up and welded some shit on a circle-11 26.5mm flare launcher so I can mount it under the barrel of the rifle but I need to find a better mounting clamp.

Keep checking J&G Sales. They had them not too long ago.

Let us know if your set screw in the ACE stock folding mechanism wears into the mated end. I wanted to use one but people that have had them long enough tell me they are shit.

I'd say so. The gun itself is at least $350 unrestored then you pay shipping and FFL fee. If you aren't resourceful you're buying another $100+ in parts at least. 8 mags + a spam can of 5.45, yeah that's decent. You still have to convert it but hey, who cares. You got all the parts together, have at it! You have to put the LHR on or is it a bolt on one that you don't have to press the gasblock off for?
-
Fuck no. And I hate that my AR15 holds open on the mag followers also.
-
I found 2 boxes of Golden Tiger 5.45 at a Gander Mt near me and that was last year, they have not restocked any at all. There's a MegaSports that has "5.45x39mm" written on a white label on the shelf but I have never seen any stocked there either, it's all 7.62x39. Go figure. I try to buy all my ammo in bulk from gunshows or from individuals.

I'd prefer 20mm cannons -
Use a wire brush on the top of the piston head, it comes off for me when I do that. The muzzle brake you're just going to have to pick and scrape at unless there's some magic solvent I don't know about. Hoppes doesn't do it and neither does Ballistol. Ether and brake fluid kinda do but the paint comes off with it

You put the triangle folder on too? Good job.

Is there an aftermarket dust cover w/ rail for .223's

Get ready to pay half the price of the gun itself...
