  1. I have seen 16" RAA 7.62s with Y/magwell dimples.
  2. Might want to think about not dropping mags. Are you really training to win competitions or survive? Mindset matters when your opponent is shooting back. Shane if you can ever break free and come over I'll show you all the "gangsta" tricks Iearned in Arizona.
  3. Don't do the Rakurs-A. There's a review on warriortalk.com under optics forum.
  4. Shane, get serious and get a Glock. I know it's a pain to learn how to shoot them DAO if you are a 1911 guy, I went through that myself.
  5. What's really sad is the folding stock Mauser K98K may soon be an illegal assault weapon!!
  6. The gas piston is loose for a reason. Actually improves accuracy to be loose. I'm not going to explain it all but imagine what happens to that piston as the receiver twists/flexes from recoil.
  7. OK, here's the deal in Texas. In 2005 a law was passed that protected us shootin' folks from encroaching city limits. Basically if you have 10 acres for shotgun and 50 for centerfire you can (supposedly) never be restricted from shooting. Of course, this is Texas so those minimums don't really apply in most rural areas, no one could care less as long as you are safe and neighborly about it. BUt if you want the protection of law from city slickers you need 10 or 50 acres. Here's an abstract:
  8. Bring it over. We'll fix the firing pin and put a muzzle brake on it
  9. Here's something I came up with. The threaded nipple under the sight rib is the same thread pitch as an AK front sight post: http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?showto...amp;#entry58339
  10. Drool....if I find one it's going to become an AK105 clone. I'd be curious to know what the magwell dimensions are on one of these "reborn" receivers.
  11. Either the NDS-1 or NDS-3 will work.
