  1. I am going to say I suspect that either corbon DPX or Double Tap is going to be the best overall accuracy without moving into custom handloads. The hornady vmax bullet used in the Double Tap is simply amazing. Someone on another board built a bolt gun in the caliber 7.62x39 and his Vmax bullet hand loads are well...you be the judge. My hat is off to his efforts. Now before someone comes along and starts crying about how that is a bolt gun and has nothing to do with what a saiga can print keep in mind that ammunition being independent of the weapon platform has its own level of consistency
  2. You all have me convinced I am gonna go with the brown bear thanks for all the help I really appreciate it
  3. Thanks for the info I looked on both federals page and remington and didn't see any match rounds for .260 rem do you know of any manufacturer that makes them I would like to compare a match .260rem to a match .308 win on price and performance right now I can get match 175gr .308 from usarmoment for 560.00 a 500rd case which is the best deal on match .308 I've found so far and it shoots pretty well too
  4. I have an AR-10T used to have 2 but sold the carbine version. I was completely happy with both of them they were very reliable I used a lot surplus ammo in my carbine mostly south african and australian, and never had any sort of failure. In my target version I only use 175gr match ammo or hunting ammo with decent ammo i get 3/4 moa groups from a rest and I have pushed it out to 900m with no problem I have to say out of all the rifles I have my AR10T is definatly my favorite
  5. Thanks for all the info I really appreciate it. What kind of accuracy can I be expecting at 100m out of a SGL21 with decent ammo?
  6. I just ordered a SGL21 and was wondering what is the most accurate ammo in 7.62x39 at a fair price. I have heard mixed reviews about wolf ammo and came across Ulyanovsk 7.62 x 39 Ammunition on cabelas 1,000rds for 250 bucks is this stuff better or worse than wolf ammo? If you know of anything better can you stear me in the right direction?
