  1. Well after reading this thread i don't feel so good that mine won't crack on me now. I removed way too much from the trunnion. I also used a dremel as that's the only thing i have. I had some issues for awhile with getting the adaptor to fit properly and after emailing with renegade i got it to work now but i have not taken it out to the range as i have been busy as of late. I'm almost afraid to shoot it now as i'm almost confident it will happen to mine. Thanks for the info cobra.
  2. I had the choice when i purchased mine between the two. I wish i would've gone with the 21 instead.
  3. Congrats on the purchase. I like the black furniture on it! Have fun shooting.
  4. How's it going. I finally got my psl i have been craving! It is a cuigr factory issued one. It came with a scope but no eyepiece which sucks! Two mags and scope cover. The wood is different colored but i kinda like it. I also picked up a itc cheekrest for it which helps a ton. I bought 5 boxes of czech silver tip for it as well. I'm finally going out tomorrow to sight it in and have some fun. Well thanks for looking.
  5. Looks good for a "meat and potatoe" conversion. I need to break down and convert mine. I'm just afraid of messing it up!
  6. My 08 models says 129mm. I've never really shot to see how accurate it is though.
  7. Very nice work man! I think i'm getting hard looking at it! lol
  8. Yeah i noticed that when i first shot mine. I was expecting more! Compared to my buddies x39 it is like shooting a .22.
  9. Cabela's had the tins of wolf ammo. I would provide a link but i'm on a mobile phone. The 7.62x39 is actually 640 per can for 239. They also have 9mm 900 for 249,45acp 450 for 199,223 500 for 209,hope that helps.
  10. The only problem with the shtf situation is alot of thing's could unfold. You should be prepared,if you live in town i would probably bug out as soon as possible before it gets real bad.I have allready made preparations with a buddy of mine to do just that. He's got a 7.62.x39 saiga i have a 223 saiga,we figured between the two we got things covered, except the longe range shots. I honestly feel from what i have read and heard lately, things are gonna get much worse before they ever get good!
  11. looks good man! I'm torn between that or the burris ak red dot.
  12. Try cope's distributing, samco global, i can't remember who was selling it but, wolf ammo was selling some only 500 in a can though.
  13. Nice work man! For a first time job it looks good, i was thinking of doing a camo job on my mosin nagant before i sold it. Two thumbs up!!
