  1. csspecs, I noticed the steel skeleton buttstocks on your photobucket site. Are you producing any for sale?I would like to keep the rearward original Saiga 308 trigger location.I would be looking for a buttstock similar to the factory Saiga 308 skeleton buttstock. Will you be making and selling any? Thanks.

  3. Thanks. The skeleton stock is "Made in Russia"(bogus).Does anyone know of a USA manufacturer?
  4. Thanks for the information mav.Does anyone have an image/photo of the converted G2 Trigger in the factory rear trigger position?I may be able to work on the new trigger as needed and keep an original buttstock configuration.Has anyone attempted this?
  5. I would prefer the double hook G2 for safety and ridgitity. Is this the wrong FCG for 308?Dinzagarms site makes it sound like a single hook may be correct. Is there a way to install the TAPCO G2 trigger in the stock Saiga (rearward) trigger position?
  6. Thanks nalioth & saigafreake. The extendable stock is very nice and is compliant, but I would prefer the fixed skeleton stock shown on the Centerfire Systems site,....only it does not list "compliant" or location of manufacture.Does anyone know if it is USA made or if another site carries a US clone? The piston replacement sounds relatively simple.Who carries a reasonably priced made to fit(drop-in) US gas piston? What do you think of using permament threadlocker on the new gas piston threads, and tacking the holes after drilling and replacement with a MIG welder and dressing it smooth wi
  7. Thanks for your useless answer. Does anyone know how to remove the gas piston on the 308?Manufacture date is mid 2008.Thanks in advance for helpful answers.
  8. Please advise me on Gas Piston removal from the charging rod/handle on a .308.It appears to be pressed and swaged into the charging handle from the factory.Who makes a USA replacement gas piston version for the 308?Also who makes or stocks an American made Skeleton Buttstock (like the Russian OEM style) in wood or synthetic for the 308?.Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thanks.
