  1. Here is link to my facebook page with some new video of the Open version of the Wright 12. The barrel is easy to change in just a few minutes. Robert is taking orders for the first 50 guns. Well 49, one is mine! Doug https://www.facebook.com/douglas.hartley.581/posts/10154818737563557?notif_t=like&notif_id=1492799293285934
  2. It's already done, the back plate comes off with 2 pins and he has a no stock plate that attaches in it's place. Should be available same time as the regular guns. Doug
  3. https://practiscore.com/rattlesnake-shotgun-match-ewpsa/register This is the link to register. Robert Wright and I are on squad 8, stop by and say hello. Doug
  4. Saw video of the open version this morning, quality was low but this gun runs like a raped ape. I hope to have a better video soon. Robert will have it at the Rattle Snake (Tri-cities) shotgun match the last Sunday of April. Doug
  5. CCW or Bar-B-Q gun, depends on what you want. I like stainless for guns that will touch skin a lot. If you want to impress folks buy something shiny! Doug
  6. Here is a video of the new R&R Targets Mag Fed Shotgun doing a mag dump in slow motion. Robert has about finalized the design and it is possible to pre-order them now. Call Robert for details at 503-551-7283. Doug https://youtu.be/JRydUg0hqDY
  7. 6mm shoots flatter. 6.5 is more common and a better choice if you don't reload. 6.5 will have about double the barrel life. I probably would do a 6.5 if I was making the choice now. Doug
  8. 1000 Hornady 6mm 108 gr ELD bullets to load up in a 6mm Creedmore and an Armageddon Arms SN-ACH charging handle for my suppressed AR. Doug
  9. I'd take a .44 mag lever gun paired with a .44 mag revolver. You know, just in case! Doug

  11. Robert at R&R has a pile of Saiga 12 safeties that he pulled off new guns during conversion. He is selling them for $5 each plus shipping. Call him at (503)551-7283 to order. Doug
  12. Here is another one, a good guy with a gun saving a Trooper who is fighting a bad guy with a gun. Doug http://www.cnn.com/2017/01/12/us/arizona-good-samaritan-kills-man-beating-trooper/index.html
  13. Got a 5000 case of 36 gr. CCI Mini Mags from a buddy that got in on a group buy. $391 for the case! Doug
  14. No, but don't it won't be cheap. Doug It will take any AR trigger. Doug
  15. yes i second this. i vote for a "pistol grip only" model that transfers as a "firearm" so i can only worry about 26.5" OAL. the "shockwave NFA hack" basically I talked with Robert this morning and he already has plans for a pistol grip only model. There will be a different back plate with QD cup. The gun will be able to be changed from stocked to PG only in less than a minute. Doug
  16. The final version will be a complete US built gun. There will be options so that you could order a unique customized gun for your personal needs. Various barrel lengths will be available including SBS guns. It uses the same modified mags as the R&R Saigas. Robert is also planning to make piston retrofit kits for existing Saigas and Veprs to use his new design. Doug
  17. It's hard enough for a very small company to build a single new gun design let alone 2. Probably not going to happen. Right now Robert is concentrating on getting this gun finalized for Shot Show in January, then into production. Doug
  18. Prototype runs like a champ, here is an image of some minor changes made to save weight. Hoping to be able to have finished guns available by February. Doug
  19. I've shown some pictures here before but I got a chance to handle the gun on Veteran's Day and pick up some specific info. Attached are some photos of the new gun. It operates similar to a Saiga 12, a gas piston driven gun, but the piston and bolt carrier are seperate. The short stroke piston pushes against the upper part of the bolt carrier. The bolt slides into the rear of the receiver and the buttstock adapter locks the rear of the receiver. This prototype gun is heavier than the production gun will be, with the receiver wall thickness being reduced in some areas and the rail being low
  20. Ok, here is the assembled prototype of the R&R 12ga Mag Fed Shotgun. Should be firing it later this week. It sports one of his fully adjustable stocks but will take any AR stock or trigger. I hope to be able to go down and shoot it in the next couple of weeks. Top photo is of the proud papa, Robert Wright, holding his new baby. Doug
  21. Parts shouldn't be any problem as they are being made here in the US. I'll post final photos as soon as possible. Doug
  22. I'm not sure on the pre-order, but you could call him at 503-551-7283 and get in line. You will be behind me, I'm getting one of the first ones! Doug
