For the sake of arguement we have three different rounds of birdshot, birdshot A is rated at 1300FPS, birdshot B is rated at 1250FPS, and birdshot C is rated at 1150FPS. So load up a magazine with birdshot A, B, & C select setting #3 which we would all agree is the setting we use for low brass birdshot. Dump the magazine. What happens? Do all three birdshot loads fall in the same area? Of course they don't because of the higher gas pressures of the different birdshot rounds. We see that some hulls fly further than others and we feel the increased recoil in our shoulders. Now if we can't ex

Cant help ya on the conversion info but I have both....I would get the S12 first....tons more fun and better for close quarters "home protection" Everything I have read on this great forum about the S12 is that it is just fine out of the box with heavy load.....just need all the fine tuning for the lighter loads....Mine was done at TROMIX Have a BLAST.....

Unfortunately, the legalities of full auto ownership are tricky. This particular gun is a "Post-86 Sample" and is not available to everyday folks. It can be manufactured by someone like Gunfixr, a FFL/Manufacturer who has paid the "special occupation tax" (SOT), but can only be transferred to other manufacturers/dealers who have paid the SOT (provided they possess a letter requesting a demonstration from a law enforcement agency for that specific firearm) or governmental agencies. There are a number of other "transferrable" machine guns that can be possessed by regular joes after ATF approval.

Very nice indeed.....what kinda process to go through to own the full auto (legalities....)

To be fair, I have a large, high-quality pic; the forum wouldn't let me upload it. It's not a great shot, I'll try to get some better ones later. What shotgun did he have on the plane? The same one he was mowing people down in the hallway in the palace that he said "ask about this one around Christmas" I think it was a full auto shotty

I'm sure I'll use your staining process, but I kind of like the look of the one from UK with the vented holes.....

Anyone know of an alternative that wont hurt the wallet as much? I got my oak furniture from Battle Rifle G3. $150.00 and I believe that included shipping. Unfinished but ready to slip on. I stained one golden, for the "black & Tan" look I like so well, thanks Cobra And one I stained "Sedona Red", AND that looks very nice as well. I like to do as much work myself, and reaping the sweat equity. For my .410, I intend to go cheap and purchased a 3 piece used set from CenterFire Arms for about $12.00. AK buttstock,PG, and foregrip. However, I probabily will keep the Factory f

I am hoping to buy the setup that Classy posted and have it done deep red....does anyone know if the one from Oleg slips right on....or do I need to modify something (only using the handguard and pistol grip) That's all slip on. Oleg mods the butstock to work, the PG & foregrip are made for the S-12 Cool...no brackets or hardware.....nice Exactly. But you have to watch his site like a hawk. He sells out of everything quick & I doubt he even knows when he's about to get a "delivery" at times. All of a sudden, he just has stuff in stock. Currently in stock! Got

The best thing for you to do now is thank everyone for thier suggestions....go shoot a couple hundred rounds and let us know how it worked out...... Then make a good decision based on the outcome at the range....

Also, for wooden S-12 setup, I have to say my favorite would be the Russian wood furniture setup they have on rusmilitary. Some guy on here did his like that and I think it's absolutely awesome. If I could have my S-12 any way it would be with that wood setup below, plus an AK front sight tower for better slug shooting and an extended mag release. You should look into that too. Does the handguard "slip" right on without any mods? I could use that for my russian red and leave my folder on as is.....Tony at Tromix made my S12 BADASS.....
