  1. I can't swear that these are the hardest kicking load out there, but they WILL get your attention. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aRHmDaDnwDU
  2. Welcome! If you could post pictures, I'd bet someone here could identify it, regardless of what it is.
  3. Not me, I love my N-frame 45 ACPs. Tastes & preferences being purely subjective. As far as Glocks, I've shot the full size 45, 40 & 9mm. Not my cup of tea, but if they were all that was available, I'm sure they'd get the job done.
  4. Got out to the range yesterday to try out the Mini Monster brake Mike sent me. I'm not particularly recoil sensitive & noted no real difference with reduced velocity buck & maybe a bit of recoil & muzzle rise attenuation with full-power buck. Remembered my (antique) timer & spare batteries for everything, except my camera. Timer results showed no significant difference with low-power stuff(Fiocchi, 1150 fps advertised), an average of 3 hundredths split times improvement with full power (Estate, 1350 FPS advertised). Bear in mind that I'm a little out of practice &
  5. Finally got a chance to try out the Mini Monster brake yesterday & today. It's a keeper. Thanks again, Mike. Will post more details on another thread. Here's some old-school guitar work.
  6. Zero, zip, zilch. nada. Guess I won't be getting an MI-24, among other things...
  7. Had a Star BM that I just could not get to run reliably enough for a backup or 'belly gun'. Seemed to be a magazine follower problem. FTF on last round about 1/3 time with every mag & any ammo. I even tried modifying a 'donor' follower from a 38 super 1911 mag. Improved to about 1/5 LRFTF. Traded for a S/W 908; not quite as accurate, but it goes bang every time.
  8. Drums for Saiga 12 are the ONLY Promag products I've had good results with.
  9. gO hoMe, ratttelsnaik, your drunk... Hope your results weren't sideways or upside down. Cheers!
  10. Looks like a R90S? That'd be a German version of a universal motorcycle, maybe.
  11. Stopped at closest LGS yesterday, looked like a plague of locusts had descended upon it...
  12. Keep in mind the cognitive capabilities (or complete lack thereof) of these people.
  13. Yep. I believe they are known as locusts. I tend to call them 'filthy hippies', myself. No offense to any God-fearing, freedom-loving, gun-toting conservative filthy hippies...
  14. Yeah, probably not impossible but highly improbable. First thought for a quad-stack mag is that you'll need something like a variable-geometry follower. Maybe there's a simpler solution, but I can't think of any other way to transition from 4 columns to single-feed. Bears more thought.
  15. PSL mags are also staggered, double column for rimmed cartridges. Can run pretty reliably when fitted/matched to a given rifle. Maybe shotshell hulls are more difficult to make work in such a magazine geometry due to lack of pronounced taper like 54R?
  16. Everyone I wrenched with that worked rotor-wing previously were good to damn good mechanics.
  17. Second shift was always my favorite. In answer to the OP, I've pretty much always used the 90 degree method. We had 3 guys who could torque the prop nut on an F-27 (God, I'm dating myself), 'bout 1000-1050 '# IIRC, solo. One was nicknamed 'Mongo'. 1" drive TQ wrench about 6' long with no torque multiplier. I tried, could barely pull 750...
  18. A couple cheap slings, some 'MASH' hooks & elastic gizzies to muffle the MASH hooks and sanitize sling stowage a bit.
