  1. I was a pre order from Feb. 8 and I received my drum today. I am very pleased. Mike and his people do a great job. Most people on this forum are great but some of you need to cut MD Arms some slack. They are filling orders and will continue to do so. We all knew it was a pre order. Oh well, again i am not trying to rip on any individuals on this forum i just think md is doing the best they can.

    saiga 12 problem

thanks will....just to let forum members know i spoke to will and he took care of the problem, good guy. thanks for the help A+ for Redjacket
  3. i recently took my saiga 12 converted by red jacket....beautiful shotgun.....to the range. I had never been fired before. I put the md 20 on it and started to fire... I was having problems at first with it not throwing the spent casings. they were getting stuck. I would just clear it and fire next round.. this continued then maybe the last 5 rounds went good. I had the standard plug set to 1.. I screwed it all the way in then i opened it to the 1 setting. I was firing winchester mil spec 00 buck. Is this a break in issue.. gas setting.. any help would be appreciated. thanks
  4. I bought a bunch of ak 74 magazines. got a great deal and got pouches....I am happy with them for the price... just had a question.... They are black and have stickers that say made in Bulgaria on them..however; they do not have any circle 10 or 21's on them..... they have a silver mark at the top were the mag feeds...but they do not have any markings on the magazine, they are suppposedly used Bulgarian surplus anybody know what i have. I have German bakalites and some used circle 21's but do not know if all Bulgarians are marked
  5. I love the Saiga SGL 31-61 got one from Atlantic. I think it would be a good choice...great rifle
  6. i understand they are manufactured here...... from kits on a nds receiver..... The riveting and finsish is nice the wood is nice...basically my only question was about the quality of the polish kits...i heard they were great kits if you were able to find someone good to build it i feel mine was built well here. always heard a well built polish ak was desirable...???
  7. I recently picked up a Polish underfolder ak 47 to go with my ak 74 tantal...It is a beautiful build... I really like it...I have alway read and heard great things about the quality of the polish ak's....my tantal is great....have not got the chance to fire the underfolder yet...to much snow still here in ohio...Just curious about people's opinions on the polish ak 47 underfolder....not taking into account if you are a fan of the underfolding stock..just on the quality of the rife
  8. I look forward to the MD double stacks....any idea of the capacities he plans to produce?
  9. I really like the Bulgarian and Russian military surplus 7n6. i have many thousands of each. good stuff. affordable, and just clean after the trip to the range.
  10. I recently received my SGL 31-61 everything is great about it but i seem to get a loose fit with my magazines they feel woobley, I am using east german bakalikes and bulgarian surplus mags
  11. Carolina, thanks i was on your site and had everything picked out..... turns out the gunsmith I usually go to and trust is very busy with his job so i can not a hold of him........ do i need a gunsmith or gunsmithing tools. I wanted the DPH solid sketleton stock, the internal block and the push button folding mechanism..... any suggestions...my other option is to go with the kvar AK BFS which just screws in to the external block and is eaay to install i am just not sure on the look.... thanks for any help in advance
  12. I just got mine monday....I ordered it friday....very pleased....it was quick i am in ohio... so is MD
  13. ya i wanted to use an ACE i did see a bulgarian one that folds that bolts on but i was just curious how hard the ACE one was to install
  14. I now have a SGL 31 and i want to replace the stock. does it require gunsmithing to install the internal stock adapter and then the folding mechanism then eventually the stock. Is this a lot better than one that bolts on to the back of the receiver? thanks in advance for any input
