  1. Feast or famine is the norm for me. This month was feast.... gotta enjoy some of it when I can.
  2. I'm not sure if the AGP will do that.. but fwiw, Ace stocks absolutely will. PA, You like the Ace stocks, huh?.... keep working on me and curiousity may make me buy one sooner or later I really like this AGP though. I like the QD attach points. Is there an Ace model that has QD attach points?
  3. I feel a 100 round Winchester Universal mag dump video coming.... with 5 MD20s
  4. There are some good pics of how it mounts here It will bolt up to anything flat. Not sure I understood what you were asking. I'm familiar with the pignose adapter, just not sure why you would need it. I hope the pics help.
  5. Did you get the one with the slots? He was planning a slotted model. Just curious....
  6. +1.... For this state being the damn 'Gunshine State'.... it sure does suck for shotgunners..... No, we'll eat cake and icecream off of Hooter's girls (tan ones). Yeah, that'll show those Montana guys, lol.
  7. I just ordered some MD20s and I hope Mike makes a 12 rounder in the near future. I really want a 12 rounder and I will buy a few Promag units if I have to. Pretty much.... whoever is ready when I am ready....
  8. I think I have a Tapco rail left over from a Galil type handguard I got rid of. I may try it with that one. It's kinda short, but long enough to mount a vert grip. Great idea. Thank you gentlemen.
  9. OK. I ordered two MD20s yesterday and I am considering three more before the pre-order is over. Does anyone know if Winchester Universal bulk pack will work in the MD20?
  10. I read this whole thread and looked at all of the PDFs. Does Winchester Universal bulk pack work with the MD20? I just ordered 2 MD20s and may order another 3 here in a minute, but I almost exclusively use Wichester Universal. I don't want to have 5 drums I can't use with my favorite ammo. Please chime in.... before the $100 pre-order is over.
  11. It is made of polymer. I think you would really have to be beating the snot out of something with the stock to break it though. It is quite beefy. I'm not scared of it breaking....
  12. nice... thanks! Shhh.... lol
  13. Looks good. I like the look of the factory handguard too. What rail did you use and does it feel solid with the vert grip on it? I like to improvise too....
  14. The two short screws hold the guard on and the long screw most likely goes to the SAW grip. Do not use anything other than a SAW grip with that guard or a grip that has been declared compatible with the Tromix DIY guard. My DIY guard was already on the weapon when I got it, but I'm pretty sure the holes for the original rivets is where the screws go through to the guard. The screws go through the inside of the reciever and fasten the guard. I think the washer goes on the grip screw. You may want to use a drop of blue Loctite on the small screws that fasten the guard. Hope this helps. Ooops
  15. At that point, lock & load, draw down & start chasing them..... As you ask... I'm hunting YOU aint I??? You're killing me.... your avatar is too.... I find it very distracting.... something about the Asian girls....
  16. That's good news for a first post. Many start with "Help!", lol. +1 on the upright charging handle. I have the fever for one. The skull version adds a evl touch too.... ETA: Duh.... Welcome aboard!
  17. You might want to price stocks again. I just did. I.e. Ace skeleton folding stocks, (with internal receiver block), are not much more than the AGP product, (~$20 more). Also, the way they mount, you can choose whether it'll fold to the left or the right.. and easily change that if you so desire. PA, I was actually referring to the 106? stocks and the triangles. I looked at the ACE units.... I may try one on something later. They just haven't grown on me yet. Good looking out though.
  18. I have a few AKs with pretty wood. I'm scared to touch them, lol. I just like the durability of polymer.... and it is.... evl n blk
  19. I got the mag in the 'for sale' section here.... u snooooze u looooose Gotta be quick, lol.
  20. The block needed no modification to fit snug to the reciever. Looks nice and clean as long as you do your part. The stock is a little tight to the trigger finger when completely folded to the reciever, for right handed persons, but swing it out a touch and you'll be GTG Overall, it has minor shortcomings, but I think all sdefolders have their advantages and disadvantages. It is comfortable, has multiple QD attach points, and locks solid in the open position. If you wanted to carry it 'slung' in the folded position, you would have to attach the sling to one of the QD points
  21. This kinda gives you an idea of how cushy the stock is....
  22. the rivet looking thing is actually an allen head screw. The QD attach insert can be moved to four different spots on the stock. 1 forward and 1 rear per side. An extra one of these wouldn't hurt a thing, but it just came with one .... hint hint AGP The only problem with the left side forward QD point, is that the swivel gets in the way of the button a little. There isn't much room to put it elsewhere though. This is a beefy spot on the front of the stock and I would rather it be in the way than fail.
  23. When the stock is folded it is very difficult to use the charging handle. I don't fire mine folded, so it isn't a big deal to me. The stock can be swung out a bit and the charging handle is accessible.... one of the good things about it not locking in the folded position This is one of the advantages of a right sidefolder.... self explanatory.
  24. It seems a bit bulky at the rear when folded, but I don't have anything to compare it to other than the E. German or Romy folders. Not a dealbreaker though. Still like it.... A rear view. Did I mention this stock has very minimal play in it when opened?
