What forearm is on the one second from the bottom? And is the bottom rail to MIL-STD-1913 specs? I only ask because I have a Grip Pod that will only fit on a Picatinny Rail and found out the hard way it wson't fit on a Weaver rail.

Even if the spring were to come out of the the notch, the lever fits pretty tight to the side of the receiver, I don't think the spring can slip off.

Are you thinking about some type of vent holes right at the point the puck stops travelling? I use a CSS puck and I'm sure the measurements would vary from different types of pucks.
