Believe the problem was with the ambi mag release. Not the greatest Glock design. I had one and now have a 21sf with the Glock rail and standard mag release.

Shoot a bunch of handguns and calibers at your local range. I find the cool factor to be less important on a carry piece because no one should see it any way. I recommend Glock 30sf for carry and Glock 21sf for a full size piece.

I carry everything Con 1. The above is an prime example of my mindset. Maybe if I were going through thick brush, I would engage the safety on the weapon. Other than that, I keep my booger-hook out of the trigger guard. That would be Jeff Cooper's Condition 0.

Gotta be a better way. The stock blocks the rear holes and I ain't making any bigger holes in my receiver. You know what. I say we should be rebels and keep the holes in the receiver. Remove a small divet in each side of the stock where the holes are. I got my plugs from lowes and granted they were $1+ per bag of TWO! but I didnt have to do anything but pop them in. Dont know about what inflight is talking about, mine fit fine. You can also have somebody weld em up. Of course its your gun and you can leave them if you want. Regardless thats a fine looking weapon. I apprec

I use this, as I have a K-Var stock, and it is wonderful. I couldnt imagine shooting without it. My S12 was signed off on Friday the 14th. We need to get a data base of inspector stamps and see if some are worse than others. Never thought much about it til some guys started posting the dates of their guns. Now I can't stop thinking about it.

+1 on the Wilderness belt. I make it a habit to always ensure my shirt is pulled down whenever I get in or out of the car or when sitting or standing in a public place. One piece of advice: Make your gun easily accessible. Some are proud of being able to hide a gun so well their proctologist can't find it. Carry everyday and everywhere!
