  1. Somehow, the MOLOT plant put two manuals into my VEPR 12 box. These manuals are serialized to match your individual shotgun.

If you did not get your manual with the following serial number, I have it and will gladly mail it offt to you.

The only thing I need will be a very clear picture of your serial number stamped on your shotgun.

    Serial Number:

    CA 9279

Hope to find the rightful owner!

  2. I've a VEPR-201 and it looks like I don't have a threaded barrel...

I don't see any pin or weld and the end of the barrel does no look like there is a cover.

The manufacture date on the box is 1-2012

    Comments?

    Will post a picture soon

  3. Been away from buying AK parts. Now, that I'm back into a 12 and 5.45 VEPR, it's nice to see CSS is still such a great vendor to deal with. Just bought some VEPR 12 mags and I'm sure to buy more once I get around to moding my 5.45.

    Appreciate the heads up!!

  4. What a tease!

I would buy that tri-rail. Not sure how you mount it. But, it's about a slim line and perfect as I would ever want. Damn good job. Makes that rifle look beautious. I would go with more of a ACE style stock, though.

The front kind of reminds me of an AMD-65 with the fully exposed gas tube.

  5. Been a LONG while since I was here. I am really happy with my latest buys of a Draco and converted Saiga 308. What do you all think. The only thing I would like to get is a flash kill. Does that $170 SMG muzzle break that bolts onto the sight block really work well or not. What about recoil reduction. It sure is pricey.

  6. It was nice to see the Arsenal AK being shot along with the ARs. I like seeing the AK do it's stuff.

Shot my plum SGL20-22 this past weekend. Went through about 200 rds and at 25 yards was blowing a hole in the target with irons. Had some that were on the outside, when shooting with my opposite hand, and blurry glasses.

Can't wait to get some 100 yrd stats this spring.

  7. Well, the Warsaw stock is coming off tomorrow when my K-var NATO unit comes in the mail. Got my GunTech side mount with pickatinny rail. Also pulled the grip and put the Hogue Ergo. OMG what a differece!! Night and friggin' day. Super nice grip. Totally transforms the look and feel. This thing is really starting to take on a different personality. I also should get my budget Leepers 30mm Red Dot. We'll see how tha holds up. I hear good reports. I have an Eotech that I could use; but, I saw Nutnfancy's "Breaking Contact" vid, where he's using a SGL plum of some sort with an Eotech and it just looks a bit out of place on an AK. Just my perception. I'll just leave it on my MSAR STG556 for now. I think a little red dot looks more like what the Ruskies use.

I will post picture links when it's finished....maybe tomorrow. Lovin' that SGL vibe baby...lovin' it..

Oh, forgot. I also bought the K-var compensator....I've got 7 30rd mags just waiting to be emptied this Saturday...

  8. Hold on, are you all saying that the barrel has to be removed for a cut/re-thread. Isn't the barrel rivited to the reciever. Sounds like a lot of work and expense. I thought that re-threading only required a tool on the end that you would rotate to cut the threads. Or is the lathe method just preferred.

I am in the process of putting together everything to fully mod my S12 and GunKote it.
