Can you elaborate more on that? The only Shortcoming I can think of is not firing full auto. My Saiga 12 is the best gun I have ever bought, the one most fired, and the one most envied! Now That I have my Carolina Shooter's Supply DIY conversion on it, she's a force to be reckoned with! That being said, I am a HUGE proponent of the 1919, and I will be buying mine from CSS. Great people and great products! I can't wait for aftermarket shits!

Carolina Shooters Supply will be offering them for retail soon. I use them for all my Saiga needs and I'm sure they will be the best to deal with in purchasing an Akdal MKA 1919. I am not sure when they will be up for sale but I am in talks with one of their reps and will get back with more details. I posted a thread on here a little while ago about the MKA 1919 and back then it was met with opposition, saying it was merely a dressed up run of the mill auto-loader. I think it'd be a great addition to my exotic Shotgun collection!

This thing is only dressed up like an M16... it's no more M16 than a 10/22 with an AR kit is. The S12 is an AK chambered it 12 gauge... there's no masquerading there. I'm hardly an S12 purist...its just that this thing just doesn't look very well designed. Keep in mind the 'A' in AK stands for 'Avtomat'(automatic, or select fire). It'd make a great addition to my exotic shotgun collection. A 12GA AK-47, and a 12GA "M-16." I get enough dropped jaws when I tell people about my Shotgun AK-47. Who says it has to REPLACE the Saiga? agreed. Politicians are not the people. They have no similarities to the people. I'm taking a Criminal Justice class at a local college and the book, multiple times, states that lawmakers only make laws to make the people *think* they're fixing the problems.
