Yeah....you have to have enough clearance on the BHO to get the safety in and then line up the retainer and safety and then push down HARD to get the safety pin in the hole in the receiver and drop the lever . make sure the hammer and trigger pins are fully inserted..... and it WILL still be a PITA the first few times you put it together!!!!!! Be patient and work hard at it .........do not reach for the hammer!!!!! only finger pressure is required.Good luck . Matt

Yeah ..I feel the same way . other forums are run by control freaks that are way to up tight . We have a lot of lateral freedom here that you do not find any where else.Plus it's all about the Saiga 12 !!! Matt
