    Double Stack Pics

Great to see this moving forward Mike,...and hope everything is going great for you. I would go 10rders, for the obvious reason that these will sell like hotcakes in the 10rd limit states and the length is perfect. 14rder because...what's the sense in tooling up for just 2 more rounds and length wise, may be just about max for tacticool. And then the 20rder for the crazies that don't care about length, weight,....drag trails....
  2. A popsicle stick under each tab helps prevent over-extending and breaking a tab...Plus it's easier to get off....FYI
  3. So it looks like to re-assemble, the spring goes into the main body first, then the shell shuttle, then the back cover. How bad is the retaining hole in the main body? I somewhat find it hard to believe that the spring leg jumps out of its hole upon recoil...They look to be almost 1/2" in length. Can you take a picture of the spring as it sits in the main housing? You could try filling the hole in the main body with silicone, install spring and let it dry. This may be enough to retain it...Or you would get some ShoeGoo and glue the spring leg into the hole of the main body....Put a little wate
  4. First of all, I think Mike is a stand-up forthright entrepreneur based on how he conducted himself during the MD20 production....With that said,...I could be way off with this, but what I think happened...and this is taking the $30k sale of mini-gun parts into concideration, is that when ProMag came out with their mags he lost a lot of potential sales which has affected his business financially...His profit margin went down considerably also. I remember something was said that he now was able to do everything in house, which means that he invested a lot of money on expensive manufacturing equi

  8. Where can I go to read the rule? Also, from your description the Slide Fire doesn't meet those criteria as the finger is not assisting the reset of the trigger. Ive had some idea's rolling around in my head and I would love to know the rules before I get to far. The law basically says that if there is a single FUNCTION of the trigger, it's a machine gun. The ATF came up with their own interpretation of what that is with the AA and the courts went along with it, but NEVER ruled that the AA is a machine gun. If the AA is a machine gun, so are all the spring activated Hellfires out there.
  9. http://www.subguns.com/boards/mgmsg.cgi?read=755871 Info from wholesaler on Saiga 12's IT HAS BEEN BROUGHT TO OUR ATTENTION THAT THE STATE DEPARTMENT APPROVED THE IMPORTATION OF SAIGA 12'S AS A SPORTING FIREARM......WHAT DOES THIS MEAN? HOPEFULLY WE WILL SEE CONTAINERS HITTING SHORES IN ABOUT 30 DAYS OR SO.... ALSO WILL HOPEFULLY SEE A SIGNIFICANT PRICE REDUCTION IN THE SAIGA 12'S NOW THAT THEY ARE APPROVED AS A SPORTING FIREARM!!! 10. I was the same way, but now I own both a 12 round and 20 round promag drum and both work great! Each did need a few swipes of a file to fit, but they lock up great. Got 2 at Phoenix gun show and both were milled on the end closest to the bolt. Milling was done on the ledge on both sides with about an 1/8" removed. A little excessive for my gun as the drum rocks front to back pretty good...Good thing there is a lot of room for error with the way the bolt engages and extracts a shell from the drum as both work just fine. I would rather have had to do some filing though. Also, no instructi
  11. Good business move....I looked at your competitors 12rd and 20rd drums at the SHOT Show....they look nice like the rest of his stuff...But will they work??...Your double stack mags should be the ideal tactical defense mag(IMHO), when they come out....Good luck on those Mike. I'll be ordering 1 more drum from you as I appreciate your business ethics.
