  1. Sunny, couple of things, as you know due to the very wide tolerances in AK and Saiga platform weapons there is a break in period that we advise. We tested these mags in six different S20s, the only issue we have had is the tightness of the eighth ninth and tenth shell when fully loaded. What we found that works the best is to load the mag on an open bolt and load the mag up with seven shells to start with and fire this way two to three times for a break-in period. Then load the eighth ninth and tenth and cycle until they all feed without issue. We also over-engineered the springs, you ma
  2. For those that may or may not remember back about 2 1/2 years ago (yeah I know I have drank since then too!), there was a company on here that was called Dragoon Tactical (my company); we were working on producing S20 10-rounders, but through a series of set backs it did not happen, till. Now through a name change and complete rework, we are done and CSS has them! Holy shit! I remember. Congrats! I remember you taking an ass load of shit from the nay sayers telling you how impossible it would be and how you would fail. I am stoked there is another option out there. I hope they are re

  4. That would be because I listed it auction style and people were willing to pay that. I honestly did not expect that.
  5. I receive about a dozen PMs a day asking what happend to us (Dragoon Tactical) and our S20 Mag production, so instead of answering each one by one I decided to make this post for everyone. First, I am bummed and dissapointed that things fell through; word to the wise if you ever decide to produce anything never ever ever take the "friend-of-a-friend-who-knows-machining-and-can-cut-you-a-good-deal" route! It is my own fault that I chose to try and save a few bucks by doing this, it bit me in the end. Next the part(s) that I could not control; my wife's misscarriage, a trip to Afghanistan (I
  6. We at Dragoon Tactical are very pleased to announce that out final S20 10rnd mag is completed and approved by us! We will post some pictures later this evening for you all to drool over. Stay tuned the next few days as we discuss when full fledged ordeing will begin after the final tests are completed. And for these tests we will need 3 volunteers to recieve a testing magazine. Please post your interest in our business section. First come first serve!

  8. ..."just remember what the door mouse said; keep your head, keep your head!"

  9. You know I honestly wondered about that whole "wormhole" thing, does CSS use a machine that can bend the fabric of space time when shipping orders. You guys should really market that!
  10. You can purchase Mini-30 mags from Country Shed for about $20 bucks a piece, not much different that duck-bill mags as far as price once you have an adapter, which is one thing we are working on, and may be our next product.
  11. Would anyone be interested in having an adapter for the SKS that allows you to utilize Mini-30 mags?
  12. We are a business Member, check us out!
  13. UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE Look for me in the Business Members section very very very soon (like a few hours or less).
  14. I so want to get some and do a little "experimentation" ever since I saw them! I bet they would kick ass in a Saiga!

    New S20

Yayyy! Another S20-er!!! Welcome aboard! To answer your question; most times you just need to do minor adjustments to the gas plug and/or buy a real nice gas puck from one of the great businesses on this site (they make some really cool stuff). And as far as higer capacity mags...fear not p.s. I never use the term Hi-cap or High Capacity mags. These terms are only designed to demonize something that is perfectly legal. There is no such thing as "high capacity mags"!
  16. I always knew guns could have many many uses, but you have just taken it to new levels!! Props!
  17. Yeah I have an old box of 10s on a shelf and an old goose gun, I have build AKs before, next thing ya know my mind started to run wild with possibilities!
  18. Anyone ever thought about a 10ga conversion for a Saiga? Completely ridiculous idea but it crossed my mine so I thought I would post!
  19. As of right now we are just going to do "functioning" and "right-priced" 10 rnd 2 3/4 S20 mags. Once a good base is established you had better believe we are gonna branch out. We have several designs for some innovative products. But first we need starting capital, that will be the initial purpose of making these 10 rounders. I am going to contact the board owner here in a couple'o weeks and get set up as a business member, so keep watching, we won't let you down!
  20. Is it possible to grind down the sides of a milled Yugo M70 receiver stub to create a front trunnion that will work in a stamped receiver? I screwed up and bought a Yugo front end with a milled receiver stub and a couple of standard AK flats (not the bulged type) and would rather not buy more parts if I don't have to.
  21. I have seen the red Bake mags in 5.56, but they are very very rare. They were ComBloc modified exports and can be differentiated by the small numbers on the base plate that read .223.
  22. Just to let everyone know, things are going great! I will be setting up as a business member soon...
  23. Great news! (odd but great). By conicidence I got ahold of a toy making company that actually specializes in old Victorian type clockwork toys (dont ask). But the guy there was very interested, said he would be able to make the molds and everything else for around an $1800 start up. I am sending him the plans today along with pictures and measurements. He is a smaller company so the monthly output will be less then for a big factory but I anticipate the quality to be spot on. Production may be soon but for now I will still say mid to late March, if this changes I will let you all know rig
  24. Ok here I am again. Contacted several molding companies and it looks like about an 8 to 10k investment to get started. I am going to start with the standard style 10rnd single stack mags. At about $50 a piece all I would have to sell is 200 to make back the initial cost (assuming I don't hoard them all for myself )!! Then once the other CAD drawing are finished for the double stack concept (if it is feasible) then those will go into production. I am shooting for a target time frame of about mid to late March for the first 10 rounders to roll out. Anyway I will keep all S20ers posted.
