  1. How much of a pronounced dent on the opening of the case (near the opening) can be had and still be safe to reload?
  2. While it may not be the most supper accurate weapon the picture shows you can get pretty close. Factory ammo shot pretty well so far. Will try some reloads when I get around to working some up. 100 yard distance with scope and shooting off a bench with a bipod and gun bag as supports.
  3. As far as trigger pull goes, a nice trick that I'm sure many have learned and may have forgotten is to put a dime or a penny on the end of your muzzle while you lay in the prone position (helps to have somebody else doing this while you are in shooting position) and squeeze the trigger without knocking the dime off the barrel. We used to do it with the M-16 not sure if it works with the AR or not (haven't picked up my rifle yet).
  4. Bought mine from a place called gilberts and had it transferred to my local gun shop.
  5. Range max distance for M-16 qualification range is 300 meters that equals 328 yards and that is shooting at a human sized target. So it is not unreasonable that you could hit a 10 or 12 in pie plate at 400 yards. Given that you are using the 20 in barrel I'd say it would be possible to do it.
  6. Air Force: 4 years Active Duty, 4 years Inactive Ready Reserve. Civilian for 7 years Army National Guard since 2007, do to finish contract next year. Long break in service then came back in to do some good, it's not that I've forgotten how much of a pain cleaning an M16 is and decided I would rather own an AK myself. Hence I've come to Saiga.
