  1. This groups first conference to be held in Chicago, imagine that. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,533525,00.html <---
  2. Now I lay me down to sleep. I pray the Lord my soul to keep. Now is not the time to sleep or entrust ourselves to the idiotic views and plans of our leaders singing lullaby's to us, and providing smokescreens to blind us when these wackos are out there plotting our destruction. Which destructive version do we want, homegrown madness or foreign insanity? Yea I know, preaching to the choir. ---> http://www.tangle.com/view_video.php?viewk...f3eabea1ceb73e4
  3. [ Any civil disobedience to speak of as a result? Nope, only the whimper of a demoralized citizenry. Yes it appears to be quiet, but it is still early. What ever whimpering you hear will soon be drowned out. More citizenry still have not been pushed hard enough into the corner so as to really see what their made of. Let the powers that be strut and posture themselves. But reassure yourselves there will be a reckoning when all this talk is over. Storm clouds are looming. The perfect storm is brewing. Political, Economic, Spiritual, Natural disasters, War. We know whats coming, just get ready. The sheeple in the stockyard states, east and west will be hit the hardest. Feel fortunate and value the time that we have talking and sharing together in places like this forum.
  4. Being a close neighbor of the state of Kansas, I am proud of Sen. Pilcher Cook from Shawnee. I hope that this is the beginning of a trend to take a stand against the usurpation of the Constitution of the United States by the Federal branch. I say bring it on states, lets rumble. http://www.kslegislature.org/bills/2010/2009_1609.pdf <---
  5. I have observed from people in my circles and to a certain degree on this forum that we see that there is so much wrong right now in our country that some of us are getting to the point of feeling overwhelmed. We cannot let indifference and helplessness settle in. Yes, the forces against us seem huge and come from many directions and the cost high. Don't get me wrong, many of us are fighting mad at this point. We care so much that it starts to eat us up inside. But I believe that when the time comes in our daily lives to take a stand, the righteous will do their part large and small, it all adds up. Take one issue, one area in your part of the country where you think you can make a difference and contribute. Believe me, I for one will not take this situation with what is happening in this country right now lying down. Being a person of faith I will do what I am led to do that I know is right, and the things that are larger then my ability to handle, I turn over to God, let him handle it. People of faith don't forget that we are not called prayer warriors for nothing. Yes it is real and powerful. Let the faith community's and the secular community's, that have backbones and cherish liberty join forces and stand together. With Gods direction, determination and a passion for a righteous fight we can take back piece by piece what the enemy has stolen. Just my two cents worth.
  6. Homeland Security - Internet surfing as you know it will be tracked by what the FBI calls a 'non intrusive method.' The FBI says you will hardly notice anything different.. For a demonstration, click on the link: http://users.chartertn.net/tonytemplin/FBI_eyes/ Has anyone out there not just thought about the Government accessing records and programs at Microsoft at will but a full take over without us knowing it. Just a thought, do you think that when Microsoft does its frequent updates that there are things in there that help Big Brother? What better way to sneak there surveillance onto everyone's computer. Think about it. What a perfect scenario that would be. Microsoft being an arm of the Government. After all Al Gore invented the internet. Gotta love it for being sneaky.
  7. Yea, I don't think we are surprised about this, and most likely farther reaching. The Mexico angle is an interesting facilitator though. Get ready.
  8. We have come a long way baby. I just feel the need to be redundant. Preaching to the choir and maybe to a few of the forgetful. Thanks for your time. John Kennedy once said to a assembled group of scholars in the White House, "I think this is the most extraordinary collection of talent, of human knowledge, that has ever been gathered at the White House - with the possible exception of when Thomas Jefferson dined alone." The quotes below could prove his point. When we get piled upon one another in large cities, as in Europe, we shall become as corrupt as Europe. Thomas Jefferson The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not. Thomas Jefferson It is incumbent on every generation to pay its own debts as it goes. A principle which if acted on would save one-half the wars of the world. Thomas Jefferson I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them. Thomas Jefferson My reading of history convinces me that most bad government results from too much government. Thomas Jefferson No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms. Thomas Jefferson The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government. Thomas Jefferson The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. Thomas Jefferson Very Interesting Quote: In light of the present financial crisis, it's interesting to read what Thomas Jefferson said in 1802: Banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. Doesn't this sound eerily familiar to what is happening in America today?
  9. Oh no!! If this passed I would only have 4 yrs. left to protect myself and my family. Good sheep, BAHHHHH- For all you veterans over age 60, if you are a gun enthusiast or just a self-protectionist, you might be interested in this tid-bit of gossip around Washington . Guns to Be Banned for Elderly Staff Reports, UPI Washington Deputy Attorney General Designate David Ogden is circulating a draft of an executive order in which, among other things, firearms possession would be severely limited to people over age 60. An assistant to Ogden told us, "It appears that in these changing times, it is no longer necessary to allow the elderly to be armed. With all of their physical ailments and increasing senility, to leave them in control of a deadly weapon would be foolish." While the Executive Order may sound too powerful, experts in Constitutional law state that it is not actually un-Constitutional. "It's a question of wording." states Columbia Law Professor, Dr. John Braxton. "The Constitution forbids the Congress, that is, the legislative branch, from passing any laws infringing on gun ownership. The executive branch is not included in this proviso. As long as the Congress doesn't get involved, it's technically a non-issue." The Justice Departmentwas tossing the idea of a gun ban for seniors during the Carter and Clinton Administration, but public opinion stopped these initiatives. Now, the Obama White House believes differently. An unnamed aide close to Ogden agreed to talk on the condition of anonymity. "Clinton and Carter didn't have as much of a mandate as President Obama. They were both Southerners, and the Second Amendment was sacrosanct to their constituents. However, President Obama comes from a new sort of politics, where divisive issues like firearms do not apply to him." "Quite frankly, it's a shame that no one has had the good conscience to have done this already. It's a simple process, and the majority of the American people will understand it and follow the law." The enforcement mechanism for this particular executive order has not been published. It is likely that the confiscation of weapons will be similar to Great Britain 's handgun ban, in which citizens willingly gave the weapons to police. It is expected that the executive order will be given around July 1, when senior-related gun deaths reach their peaks. The aide to Ogden stated: "For eight years you see the rolling back of regulation, and crime has skyrocketed. In fact, in Massachusetts alone, murders have risen 50% since 2002. Armed robbery has also risen dramatically. With such circumstances, we must act boldly." Folks, I can't help but ask, "How much of this crime was committed by people over 60?" And how much of this crime was committed on people over 60 who are unarmed? And, how many peace officers will have to retire because they are over 60? Where is the END to this insanity?
  10. The interview with Keyes is worth a look. It is always refreshing to me to hear Mr. Keyes articulate what many of us have known for some time. Unfortunately Mr. Keyes, not everybody knows and agrees. Alan Keyes, a 2008 presidential candidate who is also a plaintiff in one of the many lawsuits challenging Barack Obama's constitutional eligibility to occupy the Oval Office, charged at a pro-life rally that unless Obama's social and economic policies are stopped, the United States as we know it is over. Keyes' comments were part of an interview with a reporter from KHAS-TV at a fundraiser for the AAA Crisis Pregnancy Center in Hastings, Neb. "Obama is a radical communist, and I think it is becoming clear. That is what I told people in Illinois and now everybody realizes it's true," said Keyes, who ran unsuccessfully against Obama for the state's open Senate seat in 2004. "He is going to destroy this country, and we are either going to stop him or the United States of America is going to cease to exist." http://rawstory.com/news/2008/Alan_Keyes_S..._U.S._0220.html <----
  11. I always enjoy these kinds of things, thought I would share. http://i226.photobucket.com/albums/dd192/t...pg?t=1235227530 <---
  12. The people that are in Congress in Washington , tell us they can not deport 12 million illegal's? We probably need to vote all of them out of office and send them back to school to learn history! We pay more to illegal's in welfare than it would cost to deport them! Our career politicians need to work for the voters and the good of the United States of America , not the lobbyist and big business. Three smart presidents- HOOVER , TRUMAN AND EISENHOWER Here is something that should be of great interest for you to pass around. I didn't know of this until it was pointed out to me. Back during The Great Depression, President Herbert Hoover ordered the deportation of ALL illegal aliens in order to make jobs available to American citizens that desperately needed work. Harry Truman deported over two million Illegal's after WWII to create jobs for returning veterans. And then again in 1954, President Dwight Eisenhower deported 13 million Mexican nationals! The program was called 'Operation Wetback' so that American WWII and Korean veterans had a better chance at jobs. It took 2 Years, but they deported them! Now, if they could deport the illegal's back then, they can sure do it today!! I lf you have doubts about the veracity of this information, enter Operation Wetback into your favorite search engine and confirm it for yourself. Reminder. Don't forget to pay your taxes... 12 million Illegal Aliens are depending on you.
  13. From the state that brings you Obama HOPE- Illinois is trying its best to strip guns out of the hands of citizens. While lawmakers know that they can't overtly do this .. because of this pesky little thing called the Second Amendment .. they know that enough government regulation will eventually destroy an industry. So Illinois is considering a law to require gun owners to maintain a policy of liability insurance of at least $1,000,000 ... this is HB0687, the Firearm Owners ID-Insurance bill: "Amends the Firearm Owners Identification Card Act. Provides that any person who owns a firearm in this State shall maintain a policy of liability insurance in the amount of at least $1,000,000 specifically covering any damages resulting from negligent or willful acts involving the use of such firearm while it is owned by such person. Provides that a person shall be deemed the owner of a firearm after the firearm is lost or stolen until such loss or theft is reported to the police department or sheriff of the jurisdiction in which the owner resides. Provides that the Department of State Police shall revoke and seize a Firearm Owner's Identification Card previously issued under this Act if the Department finds that the person to whom such card was issued possesses or acquires a firearm and does not submit evidence to the Department of State Police that he or she has been issued in his or her name a liability insurance policy in the amount of at least $1,000,000 specifically covering any damages resulting from negligent or willful acts involving the use of such firearm while it is owned by such person. Effective January 1, 2010." When your goal is absolute control over the population controlling the population's access to weapons is crucial. These politicians know that guns legally owned by law-abiding citizens are not the problem. Remember that government has one power that the rest of us do not have .. government, and only government, can use force to accomplish its goals. We should always be very wary of any politician who exhibits fear at the thought of private citizens having the ability to defend themselves.
