  1. Actually paintballs in Pig fat. Make little Hassan go home and defile the whole house or hut or whatever they live in.
  2. Actually, I got home from work Friday Night and received the message from the gun shop that it was in. So I was able to get there before closing and pick it up. I worked Saturday and they were closed Sunday so I'm looking to get to the gun shops indoor range some night this week. It's DA/SA. The gun shop I picked up my CZ at has a used Saiga 12 that they took recently. I'm pretty much banned from buying anymore guns for a while. And finally, the rifles that CZ make look pretty nice to. One of them would probably be my next purchase. That or the CZ P-01.
  3. I haven't shot it yet. I'll have to add a range report when I do. I hear great things about CZ's and their accuracy. It is real pretty in person. My camera didn't capture it which is why I went with this pic. The P-01 looks nice as well. It's supposedly the only NATO spec handgun that's availble on the market. It has a smaller barrel length for concealed carry. And as far as customization goes, this guy Hakan makes nice wood grips for CZ's.
  4. Here's a picture of my new CZ 75b 9mm in Satin Nickel with Hogue grips. This isn't my picture, my digital camera takes lousy pics but this is a picture from a CZ Forum site which inspired my color selection.
  5. Anyone here ever use these? I'm picking up a new pistol, CZ 75B, and I've seen on their forum that a number of people dry fire using these. Especially those that enter USPSA competitions.
  6. Actually they are DA/SA. The BD's have the decocker lever.
  7. There's another Police model on gunsamerica with the night sites for the same price. Very tempting!!
  8. I'm looking for a new handgun and was pretty settled on getting the Taurus PT 24/7 but then started reading about CZ's. So now I'm trying to decide between the Taurus PT 24/7 or the CZ 75b. The CZ forum has lots of rave reviews on the accuracy of the CZ and that's what I'm really looking for. I'm also looking to stay below $500.00. So I'm looking for thoughts on either of these or at this point I'm also open to any other 9mm in that price range.
  9. Cobra did mine. Here's the thread. http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?showtopic=9840
  10. I selling my Taurus PT99 and thought I would see if anyone here would be interested before putting it up on Gunbroker. I purchased it used from a local gun shop about 8 months ago and have fired a few hundred rounds through it. I"m looking for $250.00 for it + whatever it would cost to ship to a FFL.
  11. The initial flyer that was being handed out had a picture of an AK surrounded by bullets. The school stopped them from handing them out because they were concerned that the sight of bullets might scare some students. So the kid went back and redid it with the same AK surrounded by flowers and kittens.
  12. Not that this has anything to do with how Saiga is pronounced but I'm getting tired of hearing stories in the news of the Mexican Army coming across our border. Dick Army from Texas was on a local talk radio show and he said that Mexicans have come up to Border Patrol Officer's homes threatening them and their families. I want troops on the border and a nice multi layer barrier of somekind. Time to call my supposed Representatives in Washington DC again.
  13. I would definately recommend Saiga owners who want a conversion but don't feel confident with the dremel to contact Cobra.
  14. Here are two pics of my Saiga 7.62 connversion that Cobra 76 two did for me. Here's a before: And here's the after: Thanks again Cobra!!
  15. Very interesting read. It seems (to me anyway) that Katrina changed the psyche of the American people. We now expect FEMA/the government to come our rescue in the case of a disaster. It doesn't necessarily need to be a disaster to effect the way we live. Especially with all the stuff going on in the world today. I heard some analyst on the morning drive news radio speculate about gas prices if we attack Iran. He said prices would go up but demand would go down eventually because their would be less people driving due to the fact they would lose their jobs. Nice. Meanwhile, the average
  16. He had a 1000rd box of Wolf for $179 and a few dozen boxes of 20. Some Wolf. few boxes of UMC and the Mil-Surp stuff in the blue and white boxes. Maybe I should sell my unconverted 7.62x39 and pickup a .223. Although if things heat up with Iran, even that may become hard to find.
  17. I was suprised to see my local Walmart with a few boxes of 20. I plan on stopping by a gunstore where I bought a case a few months ago after I get off work today. If anyone is desperate I could post if they have any.
  18. I totally agree with you. It's my children that I worry about. What bother's me is that most people don't seem to see it and they go around thinking that somehow we are exempt from hardship or hard times. In my opinion, this world is getting more volatile. I can go on and on but I won't.
  19. I would call myself a conservative, libertarian looking for a political party to call home. And to answer the question, I would probably choose either "republican" option.
  20. I have both for Saiga calibers for that very reason. Also stock military surplus in .308 for my M1A's for SHTF scenerio. Another option might be the 12g as it is also pretty universal and widely available. Your on the right track. Don't put all your eggs in one basket. Wolverine If there was ever any SHTF senario, things would have to be pretty bad to be worrying about going through 1000 rounds.
  21. www.classicarms.us is posting that they just received a small shipment in. I've been wondering if I should change calibers. My Saiga is my SHTF gun and the concern in that type of senario is availability of ammo.I guess I'll wait in see if RAAC ever delivers a Saiga. Maybe I'll pick up a .223.
  22. I had my 7.62x39 out today and was wondering if something like this was available. Definately keep us posted and I would also agree that it looks a little to long.
  23. I wonder if I'd be able to get a Sobol rifle from one of the distributors?? I'm looking for an inexpensive 22 to teach my kids how to shoot during our next family vacation.
