  1. Just buy a stamped Saiga AK and convert it, or buy a stamped arsenal already converted. Milled receivers are only for the hardcore collectors in my opinion. A Stamped AK will out last you and your grandchildren.
  2. dsmtsi23: Is that the CSS AR style forearm? What's the length of it? Man, I need to buy a lotto ticket so I can buy more rifles and try different set ups Ya its the CCS forearm.
  3. Ive shot that ammo many times. Decent stuff. Thats a good trade.
  4. Why run a buffer or wolf spring. Stock stuff works fine and ive heard negatives about buffers. Cool rifle. Looks good
  5. Never had a squib in 7.62x39. I run alot of the Tula (walmart) ammo too. Maybe Tula is just producing more ammo with less care? Stay safe and glad to her you caught it early.
  6. Its very thick one piece billet aluminum and doesnt touch the barrel. It allows for excellent cooling. Thanks
  7. I run the AR style vented handguard from Carolina shooter supply. Best option in my opinion
  8. just look in the rifle and see if there's a bullet guide installed?? Problem Solved.......
  9. Chances are you screwed something up in the conversion. Umm do you have a bullet guide installed?? Is it the right one and installed correctly? Most people on this forum, me included use the g2 trigger without any issues for thousands upon thousands of rounds. if you try all those mags and your rifle still has issues post some pics of your conversion and we should be able to get the issue rectified.
  10. Thanks for the pics. Carolina shooters supply is the best
  11. Agreed. Bullet guide. Steel military surplus mags. Bulgy circle 10s.
  12. . Do you have any pictures of the handguard on the rifle? Thanks
  13. Buy a vented gas tube or keep the stock one. Having excess gases blowing out isnt all that cool. It works fine as people will tell you but it has its drawbacks. More pron to debree and dirt getting in the vent holes. Most people try and limit the muzzle flash, or excess gases because in a real firefight giving away your position isnt a good thing. Big flashes when your trying to see your targert(especially at night) in your sights or optic wont be beneficial... just my two cents. Either system works
  14. Does it attach with a screw in the reciever like the stock handguard?
