The Saiga Rifle out of the box is not compliant with magazines in excess of 10 rounds Soon as you put a standard ak47 magazine in that rifle it is illegal!!! First off your gunsmith is WRONG.....That gun has only had a rail mounted on the gas tube and modified the stock handguard for it to fit.. TheTRIGGER GROUP is stock and not modified. You have NO BULLET GUIDE installed.. Which is why your having feeding problems. That BULLET GUIDE helps feed the rounds into the chamber. Thats why you must use Surefire magazines which have a lip on the magazine that acts as a bullet guide...Standar

Guns Cerakoted in tungsten grey and armors black . The forend and buttstock i sprayed with Krylon camo od green spray paint. I put my own grip tape on the forend and painted over it. Rubber grip adhesive grip tape for decking and docks. Very good stuff Did you strip the rifle before applying the Cerakote? Yes. beadblasted and degreased then sprayed with cerakote and baked on. Few updates on my saiga

Just get your parts from Carolina shooters supply. Great service and fast shipping. Also get there Modified G2 FCG with Retaining Plate. Not to sure but that stock looks like it is for a milled reciever not stamped.

Sounds like just a cheap ass replacement. Did you get this from a dealer? a second hand? or brand new shipped from a supplier. If that makes any sense. I have an SGL21 and It came with a very sturdy nut, maybe some one is taking a cheap route or maybe it got replaced along the way, I dunno. Seems like a fluke or something. Agree. Where did you get the rifle?

I had my local gunsmith ceraktote my rifle and micro slick the internals. Cerakote is a ceramic that is baked on to the metal. Much more durable than just about any other finish including duracoat. I got the gun refinshed in tungsten grey and armors black which ran me about $140. That included bead blasting the whole gun to remove all the old finsh and then spraying and baking the rifle to cure the cerakote. The micro slick was another $60 but well worth it. Actions smooth like glass and the finish is self lubricating

CERAKOTE. ITS THE ONLY WAY TO GO. Tungsten grey/Armors black. Micro slick all internals and trigger.
