I shoot Brenneke 2 3/4" "K.O." slug's. Those are the only slug's that even come close to holding a pattern in my S-20. One thing i must add, carrying my S-20 through the brush and swamp's on our daily drives is a god send. The balance of a center mounted mag is awsome, and the gun is light and carry's really well. I love hunting with my S-20.

I'll play along... I cought this little frisky fella grunting around the back of the two holer: hunting in a rifle area, my S-20 is sighted in for 75yards. This little guy was ~35yrds out when the first shot hit his spine, dropping him on the spot, quickly realizing my mis-compensation, i placed my next shot ~4" lower and sent the next round through his chest. Just thought i'd share as well.

I was using the factory 5rnd mag, the 2 3/4 slug's would usually cycle alright in both mag's. The problem i was having was with the hammer wouldnt cock after each shot, but with my heavy cloths on, it seemed to work fine. Another "thing" i noticed, the cycling action is very "knochy" on my S-20, compaired to either of my bro's S-12's... Just seem's like it might contribute to a cycling issue.

Though i didnt switch the springs, i did have good luck with it hunting this past week. I assume the additional padding my 5 layer's of clothing gave allowed just enough dampening, it cycled perfect every shot, everytime. My S-20 bagged it's first buck opening morning.

The only shot shell's that work in my gun AT ALL are the cheap remington's. This is after i've tried every trick ever posted on these forum's. From the 1911 pistol recoil spring, to cutting sprial's out of it, then letting the gun sit for 2-3month's with the bolt held completely open. Nothing work's. Except these cheap shell's. One issue i am having is.... When i shoot slug's the hammer doesnt "cock". After the first round goes off, the following cannot fire even though the shell has completely ejected and the action has cycled the new one in. I have to "half cycle" the action to get the

Yup, i bought these from you a few years ago. I finally figured out which shot shell's to use in my gun, so i should try it again, but every now and again, it'll jam a slug into the back of the chanmber, and both mag's (8rnd corrected and uncorrected) act the same, they'll cycle as they see fit. The only ONLY shot shell that will cycle 100% is the remington elcheap-o shot shell's sold at walmart. They come in a 100rnd "value pack" the spec's are... 2 3/4lenght, 2 1/2 Dram EQ. 1200 ft/sec 7/8oz shot 7 1/2 shot They are easy to ID by opening the box and grabbing a shell, they have rib'

Suckey part... those are for 3" shell's only. i have two, they'll cycle 2 3/4 when they feel like it, but for the most part they like to jam. If your shells are jamming, it is most likely because you have not installed a wedge on your mags' follower which improves the angle of the shells entry into the chamber breech. You should install such a wedge in all 3 inch capacity type S-20 magazines. ~Gary actually i have, in one... it didnt help much.... the 3" mags sit futher back in the mag well, allowing the shell to jam into the upper part of the chamber.

I was pretty excited when i found that someone actually makes a 20+rnd drum for our's 20's.... until i seen the price. (heh gouge much?) It is nearly impossible to justify paying almost exactly twice the amount of the original gun price, for a mag... guess i'm just stuck with my 5/8rnd mag's. *sigh*

I'd rather a 2 3/4 mag. Most of my high capacity needs are for shotshell's. And slug's come in both 2 3/4 and 3" so.... yeah

Agreed, though i have a pair of 8rnd mags, one is 3" only and one is setup for 2 3/4. I still use my 5rnd mag for shot shells. The other's jam too much.

Yeah, its been along time... too long. i went out and bought me a really nice shooting range with a house next to it. lol. The problem i'm having is, it seems that the 3" magazine places the round too far back, and though not every round will jam, the ones that do stick up too far and catch the top of the chamber opening. So it doesnt seem like its an issue with the follower or the angle corrector, but the mag placment itslef.

Whats up cobra, i'm still running one of your mag correctors for my russian made 8rnd'ers. Though i think its about wore out, (yeah we like to shoot our guns up here in MN) i'm excited to see you'r little project, as am i waiting for MD to give any feed back, at all, on the 20ga drum mag's.

Whats up everybody?? man its been along time since i've post up here. Only recently has my S20 started working "right". If i use the stock 5rnd (70mm)mag it works just fine. But the 8rnd (76mm)mag with the follower angle correction tends to have issue's. Becuase the mag is meant for a 3" (76mm)shell the mag sits further rearward in the reciver, so the top of the shell will catch on the top of chamber. I too am looking for a decent 2 3/4" (70mm) mag, for most of my shooting that i want mulitple rounds for is usually shot shell's. Maybe one of us with a nack for custom fabbing will have to w
