  1. For Sale or Trade: Brand new, never fired converted Saiga 308 21 inch barrel. I did everything on this myself except for the barrel threading. I had the barrel turned down and threaded to 14mm left hand threads. It has the following parts: RSA adjustable Vepr .308 trigger PSL/Romak lower hand guard Hungarian upper hand guard Romanian gas tube POSP 4-8X42D scope from Eastwave Barrel work by Elk River Tool & Die G&G Armament SVD flash suppressor Dragunov style butt stock Blackjack buffer Comes with factory 8 round mag and two 25 round Surefire mags. I have about $150
  2. I am thinking about selling this rifle. I still have never shot it yet. Any ideas on what it is worth or what I should ask for it? Thanks, Mike
  3. For Sale or Trade: Belarus POSP 6X42D scope with mount for SKS/SVD and AK. Illuminated red range finder, comes with new batteries, and flip up front lens cover. I had this mounted on my AK and never had a chance to use it. Excellent condition. $150.00 shipped to CONUS or will consider trades. I need a scope for my AR build. E-mail me for more info - outlawracing16@hotmail.com
  4. Thanks. I actually bought the stock from a local gun show. It already had the extension on it. I only removed it so it wouldn't get damaged while I sanded and worked on the stock.
  5. Thanks. I finished it over a year ago and still have not fired it once. I'm not sure if I want to. I may buy another Saiga and use it as a shooter or buy a Romak III/PSL and shoot it. BTW - I like how your .223 is coming out. Maybe I'll do something like that.
  6. A year ago I paid $80.00 to remove the barrel, turn down the barrel and thread it.
  7. Sorry, I don't. I posted a wtb ad on ar15.com and got lucky when someone replied and sold me theirs.
  8. The barrel is the original. It looks longer due to the flashider.
  9. Great job with the furniture. With todays prices it may be worth about $1K. Why do you call this thing Saigunov? The rifle is named after the antelope saiga. For $1K I'll keep it. I have way more than that wrapped up in it. cause SaigaPSL just doesn't sound right?
  10. As much as I hate to do it I am considering selling this rifle. I have never even shot it. It just sits in my closet tucked away in it's case. I see that the price of Saigas has almost doubled since I purchased this one. I could probably use the money for other projects. Any idea what it is worth?
  11. Here is a picture of the furniture when I got it and before I modified the lower HG.
  12. The front section of the lower HG is not really finished yet. The rear section has a tang that fits into the receiver. I used wood epoxy to hold a nut in place and used the original Saiga screw to hold it. The lower HG needed all the work. I had to shorten the back of it about an inch and hog the inside of the rear out to clear the large section of the rear of the barrel. I will eventually take it apart and take some pics of the lower HG. It would be much easier to understand if you could see some pics of it.
  13. I had the barrel turned down and threaded to 14mm left handed threads. Thanks! I'm not sure what a psl brake looks like or where to get them. The flash hider is obviously for looks more than function. However I had the barrel threaded so I can put something else on if I want to. I had an FAL and added a muzzle brake. It made a huge difference. All I can say is WOW. Seeing all the positive response makes me feel like I actually did something right. Thanks!
