  1. I voted folder ubr. I like my folding m4 stock for a specific reason, my vest. With it on my lop changes simple as that. No AK stock can account for that. I actually made my six position stock a three position by epoxying up the other holes so I just have closed, vest and normal. Yes sometimes I slip on to investigate noises only takes a blink and I got it on (32 months of daily practice) so the m4 style just fits my needs better

  2. Remingtons sluggers work great at 100 out past that they seem to drop pretty fast. winchester super x is also good. After 1000 rounds of centurion slugs I'm actually doing really good with them kinda figured out their quirks so I'm gonna try them this year they make a mess out of ground hogs

  3. i agree with the break hone. I posted the other day about mine making lead shit biscuits instead of ur plastic. I had small burrs in the barrel I'm kinda redneck so I took my finest brake hone and gave it a couple twists and burrs are gone. I wish I could actually get in there and give them a small chamfer. This brings up another interesting idea though. What about a mirror polish of the gas chamber so shit wouldnt stick as much. maybe even a polish and hard chrome?

  4. I have shot almost a 1000 centurion slugs and my puc and regulator are pretty leaded up. I had a bright idea and wanted yalls input on it. I'm thinking about taking a propane torch and heating them till the lead melts off. Easier and quicker then anything else I could think of. Anyone see a downside to this? It's factory plug and regulator btw

  5. For me the must haves were: css conversion kit minus stock, v plug or auto plug, hi cap mags and ammo. I went with the css internal reciver block. Reasoning behind that was 2 fold I didn't like the nylon plugs for the old rivet holes and 2 i can easily switch between stocks until I decided on one I truly liked. Right now it has the folder that has the m4 mount built in mated to a aluminum mil spec tube and a mbr stock with a limbsaver and caa cheek riser. Everything that any one says is needed is kinda subjective as it depends on shooting style and personal taste

  6. Good luck with that thing. I bought one with my first 12. Kept jamming on me and falling out under recoil. Bought an md20 and haven't looked back. Now the wraithfailure sits with my promag stick mags. Long story short cancel and get a md20 from css you will be happier in the end

  7. Yeah they are 3 inch magnum drums. From what I could find they took they wraithfailure design and fixed most of the problems. Sides are still open though, I'm not a big fan of that. Other 2 downsides are the things are damn heavy and cost much moola. Wish mike could just pop us out a 3 inch drum

  8. I use mine for pretty much anything I can think of. Plan on getting a deer this year since I'm real close to a shotgun only area .75 yards I can make but 50 I'm more likely to pull the trigger.

  9. It is a big bag of fail if its only for unrestored saigas. If it comes off that adaptor pistol grip then I will take 3. Is it all polymer? Or a metal tube? How is the lock up between stock and tube? Is the stock standard m4 clone so a cheek pad and rear pad able to be mounted. I shoot at least 100 slugs a weekend so this is of interest to me. Does it affect the cycle of low brass at all?

  10. Well I bought the 250 centurion slugs and blew through 150 yesterday and encountered an issue. I have a ridiculous amount of lead in my gas system. About 2.5 mm of lead on the gas puck and a ring at least 2 mm thick from gas puck forward. Lead was even in my gas plug threads. There was also large chunks of lead just beating around inside. It almost seems like its shaving the slugs at the gas port or something. Anyone else encounter this?

  11. I agree with pauly I wouldn't change it for a promag. I think I'm about the only person they work well for. Go get you a nice agp or surefire mag it will cause you less frustration in the long run. Do you have a factory 5 round? When installed does the mag release look the same?

  12. Here lately I have been having to clean mine while shooting. I shoot about 300 rounds a session usually remington game loads with some slugs mixed in. About 150 in I have to knock the plug out and make it move again. I then clean it as soon as I get home. My full bore slugs deposit a lot of lead in the gas system and its a real pain in the ass
