  1. Not hard... In fact I have already built the elevation mechanism but it is not original and it does not have those ssn numbers I love so much (I believe I have a link to the build in one of my earlier posts on this thread where you can see all of the parts I have fabricated). I am still looking for an original one. If your buddy has an elevation mechanism, link (that connects the elevation mechanism to the left leg), or collar (ring that connects the carrying handle to the mortar tube), I would be willing to pay him well for the parts and would even be willing to build him exact copies of the
  2. The m7 is the round baseplate. Already have both the m7 and the m8 baseplate. I am interested in any other parts though and would greatly appreciate it if you would ask your friend about the parts. If needed I can provide specific information and pictures of all the parts that I am in need of. My email is benradcliff10@gmail.com. I have acquired 2 of the reusable short range trainer rounds. i am pretty excited about shooting them once I get this baby finished. I’m right there with you... can’t see spending 200.00+ per shot.
  3. Im not sure if I have this in the correct section but I am in desperate need of any m224 parts that you may have. Please let me know if you have ANY m224 60mm mortar parts. S/F Ben Radcliff
  4. Hey guys im still looking for parts. if anyone has ANY m224 parts please let me know
  5. Inert training rounds can be purchased on gunbroker. As long as they do not have the capability of holding a certain amount of explosives (I forget how much) they do not need a tax stamp. The charges that are used to fire these rounds are 12 and 20 ga. shotgun blanks. After the round is fired it can be retrieved and reloaded. I am also working on marketing a subcal kit that I have designed for the 60mm and 81mm systems that use a .22 ramset type cartridge to fire a much smaller projectile 100-200 yards. Another cool idea for the 60mm mortar is using aluminum bud light bottles. The neck of one

  8. so this means that the 10 rounders will be out verry soon (a couple of weeks)?
  9. Good Nwes! i ordered this little puppy yesterday from ruseler Pistol Grip(i hope i recieve it) i think that it will make the gun look verry 0130'ish
  10. It is lookin realy cool I like the fact that you welded the rsb to the trunion. however leo and i would have been screwed if we would have welded it because if i remember correctly we had to reposition the rsb like 5,000,000 times to get it to fit correctly . what kind of flash hider are you going to use and are you going to use the krebs front sight because i think the one from russeler is to short.
  11. The krebs front sight is on the gun. It is just not included in the picture. and yes the reason why we used the rsb is so that we could take off the gas tube, it is not "fused" together.
  12. WOW that is Bad ass How much did that one set you back?
  13. yes the rsb was modified to fit into the s-12 trunion and then was silver soldered into place.
  14. This little gem is the AKS-12 conversion done the RIGHT way....sorry Cobra no jb weld Please keep in mind that this is not finished by any means, also due to the fact that the weapon is not yet painted and there is lots of bare metal exposed I have the gun covered in oil so it kinda shows up in the picture. more info and pictures will be posted later. so please enjoy If you have any Questions pertaining to the gun, it would be best to adress your questions to LEO, because he is the one who built the gun.
