It is fouling. Basically streaks of carbon and plastic wadding. What I have found works best in all my shotgun barrels is the tornado brush. Basically a stainless steel woven spiral. It gets all that crud out and makes your barrel smooth as glass J

Remington Shotgun cleaner is awesome. High pressure and blasts away the grease with no residue behind...also great for cleaning J

3 ports at 3/32 with polished internals = walmart bulk destruction. I am prob a bit overgassed with my TAC47 plug but o well I am running at 100% with Federal Bulk. These things are tanks anyways Don't sweat it

+1 on the T6 being junk. PM me if you want mine.

3000 rounds of high and low brass. Mostly with MD20 mag dumps. No issues here! Still running strong

+1 on the length of the tromix. ESP if you have the ace folding mech which adds about an inch to the lop

I have the tromix on My saiga 12. And it works great. I have the ctr on my ar15 and the only thing I would be worried Bout is the recoil on the S12 breaking the wobble locking mechanism on the magpul

Easy fix. Throw it away and learn to insert a mag with the bolt forward.

Hey guys I am considering doing another S12 build and this time I would like to use the Plum KVAR furniture. I have 2 questions. 1) Will the KVAR Stock, or any other AK47 style stock fit on the S12 receiver w/o any wobble issues 2) Will the KVAR front hand guard fit on with some minor mods to the interior such as widening it out and using the Dinzag hand guard retainer Thanks guys Jason

Hey guys I was wondering if anyone else's gas piston tube is a little loose when fully disassembled. I have taken off my gas block before to open up the ports and after firing about 1000 rounds post porting the tube seems a little loose when the top cover is not pressing against it. It does not seem to be an issue at the time. I dumped 300+ rounds yesterday with my MD20 with not 1 failure so I was just wondering if anyone else has noticed it being loose? Thanks Jason

Hey guys....check this site out. A lot of material referencing Saiga 12s and AKs. All Video mostly with Jim Fuller http://firearms.atactv.com/index.cfm?event=home.index

Oh yea one more thing I was running all dumps out of the same drum so carbon and dirt was an issue to throw in too. Thanks J

Hey guys. I have a question regarding adjusting an MD20. I recently went out and ran about 200 rounds of federal bulk through my MD20. The first couple dumps went ok but as the day went on the gun would run more and more sluggish. I was getting failure to ejects. It was like the action wasn't cycling hard enough to eject and chamber a new round. My question is if you are exclusively running federal bulk do you need to either tighten or loosen the spring in the MD20. Just FYI when I started getting FTEs and switched back to the factory 5 round and surefire 8 rounder and had no issues cy

Hey guys. I was considering getting a trijicon reflex sight due to the no battery feature and the ruggedness of the sight. I would use this on my Ultimak rail. Anyone have any experience with this sight or setup. I would run ARMS quick detach mounts so I'm not too worries a out co witnessing. Thanks. Jason

Hey guys. Just wanted to say hey. I have just ordered a 308 16" Saiga from CSS and I had a few questions about the rifle before I get started in shooting and coverting. I have converted 2 Saiga 12's in the past so I read that the conversion is pretty much the same so I am not worried about that. Can you shoot both .308 and 7.62x51 in this rifle or are they the same cartridge (kinda like .223 and 5.56 NATO). Also is there a certain grain of bullet you shouldn't go over when shooting. Like what is the max. I am used to shooting brown bear or silver bear in my SGL 21 so I was thinking of
