  1. Anybody ever see the Mosin Nagant bullpup stock from www.cbrps.com ? Center Balanced Rifle Systems makes it and it is pretty sweet. Looks like a James Bond sniper or something. Anyone have one?
  2. I have it, and like it very much. If you like Dragunov/Romak stocks, you'll love the feel. Two things to consider: First, it comes unfinished. You'll need to go over it lightly with some fine grit sandpaper, stain, and clear coat. That was a feature for me. I don't like the orangy-red of most AK furniture. I wanted a deeper brown walnut, and was able to stain it accordingly w/o needing to strip it. Secondly, the adjustable cheek piece doesn't go up that high, so if you have some high mounted optics, you won't get a good weld. I've written them about this and they will be lengthe
  3. Anyone have this "saiga scout" setup : <Link Removed> ? I have a 20inch and I think it might look better than the tapco intrafuse stock. I searched around and really couldn't find any good pictures of it.....
  4. Well got it to work, I had file down the tab quite a bit which made it easier to insert. Once I did this the bullets fed. I guess with the added pressure it made the magazine too tight which would cause the last few rounds not to feed correctly. Surefire kept in contact with me the through out the whole ordeal so their customer service is top notch.
  5. Well the main problem is that if I just put in 1 or 2 rounds in the magazine they will not feed. but if I have say like 30 in, the first 28 will feed and fire fine until the last 2 or so. It is 922r compliant (barely) tho I didn't do a conversion, just the tapo intrafuse stock and grip with the surefire 30 round mag.
  6. I was interested in the flash suppressor for the Saiga 223 which is for a non threaded barrel, any news on when you can be expecting some more in stock? Thanks.
  7. Yea thats like an acog type scope I was looking at that. I haven't had a chance to sight in it yet, tax season needs to end so I can have some spare time back but when I took it to the range over the weekend I was at least hitting paper so I don't think I'll have a problem but I guess I'll find out when the time comes, I'll let you know if I have the same results as your getting.
  8. Surefire was quick to reply saying that they will send me a new one so thats good.
  9. I actually bought it from you guys, from what I heard they're not supposed to have any problems which is why I was surprised when it wouldn't feed teh bullet right.
  10. I am a new Saiga 223 owner and yesterday at the range I got a chance to try out my new 30 round Surefire magazine. The first time I loaded about 5 rounds into the magazine. The first 3 went off without a hitch but then the rest wouldn't feed. It was like the bolt wouldn't grab them. I then just started loading one at a time just to see if it would work and they wouldn't feed at all, the bolt was actually just scratching the shell up. I then tried the 10 round mag that came with it and it worked no problem. Do Surefire mag's typically need filed down, I keep reading about people filing their ma
  11. Yea I'm sure I'll be using Wolf most of the time since its the cheapest around me. Also when you say .223 DOES NOT MEAN GOOD TO GO WITH 5.56 AMMO are you saying that I shouldn't use 5.56 in the Saiga because from what I've been reading a lot of people use the 5.56 in theirs? I do know that there is pressure differences and what not but it seems to me that it is okay in the Saiga, am I wrong?
  12. I just picked up a new Saiga 223 a few weeks ago and have taken it to the range once and loved it. Anyways I have a 3-9x40 Barska Contour AR style scope on it with a illuminated milspec reticle on it. I was going to be zeroing it soon and was wondering what your experience was with different ammo and accuracy. I will probably sight it in at 100 or 200 yards. Right now I have only shot Wolf Military classic which probably isn't the most accurate but I also picked up some Federal 5.56x45 nato which is probably a better choice I am thinking (which hopefully this won't damage the gun but from what
  13. Just got a new Saiga 223 with the 20.5 inch barrel. So far I have added the Tapco intrafuse stock and pistol grip, also a Tapco Foregrip, the UTG Quad rail foreguard, a UTG quick detach scope mount, and a Barska Contour 3-9x40 scope. I also bought a Surefire 30 round mag as you can see. I guess I should have done better due diligence on the whole conversion thing and moving the FCG up but I had already bought and installed the Tapco set so oh well maybe in the future bu I think it looks great and I took it out to the range last week and it shot real nice. Now I just need to get the scope sight
