Sweet! I've been looking for another tactical shotty. Have you had any issues with it? Would you recommend this over the Remington 1100 tactical? How durable is the finish on it?

Have you tried any 7.62x39 ? I imagine the results would be similar to the .308, just with less punch of course. Is that 1/4" steel ?

You're going to love the way the M57 shoots. It's has some pop for sure, but the recoil is not unpleasant at all, and it's also quite accurate.
Please keep us posted on how you manage to change out the recoil spring. I tried locking the slide back and punching out the top pin on the guide rod like you mentioned, but it too looks like it's peened in. I gave it several good whacks, but it wouldn't budge. I didn't want to bang on it too much and risk bending/breaking the guide rod. I might just have to drill it out, install the new recoil spring, then re-peen it.

How do you remove the factory recoil spring on these guns ? (I'm trying to install a new one) Do you have to punch out the center axis pin from the guide rod and take it apart ? The pin looks like its peened in there.(crap)

At first glance, that looked like a sling attached to the handguard, then I realized you just had it propped up with a knife.

I'm left handed too. I actually have a similar setup on an AK, no pressure switch, but with a Nitecore P12. I like it quite a bit, just wish it had a focusable/variable beam.
