  1. I got Stevens 300 ($175 new)... Why? Easy... cheap... worst trigger ever (means best rifle for practice)... completed "training" set with Walther P22... as result in next month I shot more rounds than in years before... after 1000's .22 rounds with Stevens and Walther i went back to Tikka and found that my groups with .308 went down to sub-MOA... and my followup shot delay with 9mm decreased twice.. best investment ever...
  2. I'm big fan of Tikkas... Super Varmint is incredible rifle... the best part is that Tikka doesnt need any additional tuning... just put good scope on it and You'll be fine...
  3. On this forum there was scan of ATF response about this stock - it is qualified as thumbhole stock and in no way can be counted as pistol grip... I have one and it is very useful, especially with scope...
  4. "I never seen ineffective Russian tools" says everything about this review ... It is lame to do review without actually using the product for some time ... I've seen real review of that knife by person that took it to actual months long hunting trip in taiga - it was horrible... resolution by "hunter" was "I'll never touch this shit again"...
  5. Run from it as fast as You can... Design is crap and i've seen one of these break under less than 50kg of lateral load... Blade and handle are 2 separate parts, tang is not very deep in the handle... capsule (for stuff) is small and compass is a toy... Unless you want it for collection - stay away from it... For real survival there are many reasons to have large full tang/single piece knife for rough work and small multi-tool (Leaserman Wave is never fading classic) for more precise jobs... large knife you keep near your Alert Bag, small one you keep on yourself all the time (at work, at c
  6. IMHO the primary stupidity is not arrest itself but a ban on markers... Are they issuing CC permits for markers like for pistols? It is modern humanity stupidity to blaim inanimate objects for human sins
  7. http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/ is Your friend and it is free "not genuine" means that some system protected binaries are changed (probably root kit) just drop new installation booting from oiginal Win7 disk (delete/recreate partitions in process) and You'll be fine...
  8. As I am still deciding on an optice I have been looking at a vortex sparc, how does your strikefire hold up to the 12 gauge's recoil? - holds fine... Vortex says that they tested these with pretty high recoil rifles... anyway I don't see any problem even with tenth of magnum shots thar ruined my sholders the sight was still on zero... I bet the weak link here will be the mount not the sight itself...
  9. I recently got Vortex StrikeFire for my Saiga - I got IZ-108 with "leaf" sights and these suck big time for anything 50+ yards... quality of StrikeFire is very very good... just order one with red only dot (as red-green led is relatively dim - red only is way brighter)... P.S. Customer service is amazing and lifetime warranty is good addition to the package...
  10. yes it is water ... if You stuck in sutation where You don't have access to water You can just piss down the barrel works the same way...
