  1. Good post. I used your guide to polish up my trigger. Got a little better but might need more polishing on my end.
  2. I am just posting this because I couldn't find a definitive answer. 75% of the people say to go ahead and shoot 5.56 out of the Saiga 223, but I wanted to know forsure if it was ok. I sent RAAC an email and this was their response
  3. I just did mine the other day. It is a lot of work. A vise and drill press sure make it easier. Vise is a must forsure To chase the threads you need a M12x1.25RH tap http://www.dinzagarms.com/misc_parts/usgpk.html
  4. Do they offer rebuild kits? or convert to 10/20 or 10/30? I only see them as 20 or 30 rd mags
  5. thanks for the links. I have already seen that video and going to work it from there. Well so far this is what I am getting Tapco G2 FCG Single Hook KVAR Poly furniture set (4 pieces) Do I need to buy a new gas tube and lower handguard retainer? From dinzagarms Trigger guard with screws etc PG Nut and Screw Hitch Pin Clip (In place of the Shepherd's Crook?) Does anyone here know where I can get a wood furniture set for this rifle? Kind of want to go wood instead of the poly.
  6. What is a PG nut? Can you point me to a vendor that sells them all? maybe a replacement trigger guard as well? I just want everything before my rifle gets here.
  7. Ok, I have done a bunch of reading here and see mixed reviews for everything. I have a 223 Saiga coming brand new. I want to convert it to a pistol grip etc (AK47) Being in California, the only difference is that I need a bullet button and 10rd mag. No big deal as I can get that no problem. I was looking around the K-Var site and see their items and approx prices. What I want to replace is the Furniture set blk poly. Then the Hammer, Single Catch Trigger and Disconnector. These items will put me 922 compliant assuming I read everything correctly. Do you recommend differ
  8. the guy in the video is using a Raddlock This Magazine Lock has been designed to conform to the law as written in CA Penal Code § 12276.1 (a) which defined "detachable magazine" means any ammunition feeding device that can be removed readily from the firearm with neither disassembly of the firearm action nor use of a tool being required. Title 11 CCR § 5469 (a) “A Bullet or Ammunition cartridge is considered a tool.”
