    Receiver

Is the S12 receiver milled or stamped and what difference would that make?
  2. Full or Extra full choke with nothing less than 4 shot for waterfoul. Being the feds won't let us use lead anymore I prefer 3" max T or BB steel shot ($$$) for ducks and geese. 40 yards maximum effective range with these loads.
  3. It's a name that started off in a woodworking forum I belong to. I do most of my wood working with old hand tools. I just carry the name to other forums.
  4. OK. Thank you for the quick reply.
  5. I'm just wondering, does anybody use hi-temp copper formula anti-seize for lubricating the contact points in their S12? Seems like it'd work well but might be messy. If not, what would be the best grease to use?
  6. Did you see something about a recall because of this particular issue? Recalls are very different than warrenty issues.
  7. I'd like to test one. '09 unconverted original set-up (except polishing) 19" three holer. It runs flawlessly except having to set it on 2 for light loads.
  8. Just an addition, not a replacement.
  9. I don't need to get it straightned out. It it totally a moot point to me because of NYS Penal Law § 265.20. I am simply trying to save someone who is not LE from getting stuck in some bureaucratic nonsense. I know people will do as they please because of terminology but, a pistol grip is a pistol grip whether its on a gun or a drill or a hockey puck.
  10. I am not confused, incorrect perhaps. The "Assault Weapons" definition I gave is the exact wording in the law. Call it a VFG if you will but I searched "front pistol grip" and came up with 100's of sites that sell them, so I'm not the only incorrect one.
  11. You can also cut down Surefire's under the ribs. That's why the ribs are there. Then just reassemble and slide the floor plate back on the rib you just cut under.
  12. A new owner. Send it right over and that will be solved.
  13. ...As soon as it arrives though I'm going to add the Chaos Tri-Rail that I picked up from Cameron during his Memorial Day sale. The Chaos tri-rail is a very well made piece of gear. I've got one, but it's been sitting in a drawer for awhile... basically cause Mike at LSA is too damn good at his job and made me love the factory handguard in spite of myself : That looks really, really nice. How about the rest of it?

    Promag to prolific

What's a "wannabe-gangster"? When does a guy go from a "wannabe" to a real "gangster"? Is it age? Level of sophistication & organization? How deep his connections run? Really. I'm curious what you feel is the difference? From what I've see the wannabe's are the worst ones because they'll do anything to become a real gangster.

    Brass Cycling ?

Polishing or Gas ports? It seems that opinions differ greatly as to what will solve cycling troubles. Since I have already done a good polishing job and my S12 eats flawlessly if I have the gas adjuster set on 2 for low brass and 1 for anything else, should I worry about he gas ports? It is an '09 three hole and it has a a Gogun standard twister puck.
  16. Thanks for the replies guys. Unused...... The link in your edit is exactly what I am looking for.
  17. Nope, nothing there like in the picture. Thanks anyway.
  18. Hello. newbie here from NY. I think this is my 1st post in this forum but I've been lurking for months. I'm a new S12 owner and I'm very pleased, especially since I did the standard polishing job that seems to be required with these guns. She eat anything that I feed her now, without even a burp. Being from NY and being kind of a traditionalist, I'm not planning any major modifications right yet. I got the Saiga because I wanted a semi-auto shotty and everything I read about them drew me in. What I would like do is to dress her up in wood furniture like this, but I've search all over and cant
