  1. The factory FCG does indeed have a 'stop' that prevents over travel by the safety lever. It hits the stop after engaging the rear trigger legs and works great. That's why you don't normally hear of this problem until after swapping out trigger groups. As I recollect, some have modified the aftermarket trigger group to accept the factory stop with good results.
  2. Not specifically, but if they are the same setup as my 223 mags, then there is a blunt face that stops the bolt from coming forward after the last round is fired. Remove the follower (unless you have a steady hand) and taper it back so it's pushed down by the bolt instead and you should be good to go.
  3. That's sick! I vote we ban water, boards, and teapots. A good start, leastwise.
  4. Yeah, in addition to all the "evil weapon features" you can also include scalding water. This thing should be banned for that alone.
  5. The mag has a steel rod embedded in the follower to hold the bolt, correct? I don't know why you couldn't grind the front edge down to eliminate the feature.
  6. Usually in stock? Not to be negative, but everything used to be usually in stock. Good luck though.
  7. Same here. It's just that I'm such a good shot that it only takes one. Targets get a bit expensive though, because 12 gauge 00 annihilates them at 10 feet.
  8. ^^^ And I think it will take less time. We're far more advanced. Of course we can do it quicker.
  9. This is a major disappointment and concern for me. How on Earth can we expect cradle to grave government protection when radical activist judges circumvent common sense laws so frivolously? Of course the law wouldn't apply to me anyway, seeing as how I only imbibe sugar free soft drinks. I might die of cancer but at least I will be healthy at the time.
  10. Yeah, I wasn't commenting on his preferences or lifestyle. Just the song.
  11. And I'm not even kidding this time. Go ahead, flame on.
  12. Don't know whether to laugh or cry over this one. Actually, I do. That's sad, and you're right, she's a (super) bitch. Did you manage to salvage it? You don't look near that old in your avatar Jake. Nice perm, too.
  13. Ditto that. BTW, a damn bug ate your avatar.
  14. I've got one, somewhere. If you can't find one elsewhere then PM me and I'll look for it. Free of charge, except for shipping. Hey! If you had more than two posts I'd eat the shipping too. PS Three posts won't cut it either. I may be dumb, but I ain't stupid.
  15. Why.......you don't jest, that sir would be called at tyranical government any place else Silly me, what was I thinking? In retrospect, the only governing entity I can think of that does a better job than the Federal one is Chicago City, USA. An outstanding role model for the rest of the country, and dare I say, perhaps the entire world!
  16. This part kinda hurt my feelings, seeing as I'm not only a member but also the founder and CEO. FYI, I do have quick releases on my S12 mounted TV remote and can holder so I can drop excess accessories and go mobile in a heartbeat. I'm not all show and no go. Seriously though, I'm guess I'm one of the lucky ones as far as S12s go. Mine has ran flawlessly before and after conversion with none of the issues mentioned here on the forum. No porting, polishing, or tweaking of any sort. Just pull the trigger and smile.
  17. No surprise here, just another example of how laws intended for us peons aren't applied to the elitists. Politicians and their cronies suffer "wrist slaps" for doing exactly the same things that would get the rest of us felony prison time.
  18. Can I hit it twice Chile? The commies think it's OK to pile on.
  19. As a cure, or a cause? Never had any gun related dreams myself. I generally just rip my opponent's heart out a la Jim Carrey in Dumb and Dumber. Hey, it's my dream and I can do what I want.
  20. It ain't trash unless it looks like trash or isn't strong enough. Nothing wrong with saving a few dollars by doing modifications yourself.
  21. I now have 5000 Berdan primers. Now I just need to figure out what to do with them.

You should be able to sell it to a reloader if you don't plan on getting into it yourself. I've got thousands of empty 223s too.

While you "can" reload berdan brass, its a slow and painful process depriming spent shells. 5K is a lot of berdan primers, but if you have the brass, make up some SHTF load-out packs and sell the rest.

Well FLTF3, I figure if folks are going bonkers over 22 LR, then I might just load anything that sits still long enough.

I agree with what you are saying "in normal times" but am about ready to reload 7.62x54R. LOL!
