  1. Right now? Well, I guess that would be my Hi-Point 995TS. Seeing how it's the only one I can afford to feed at present.
  2. Kel-Tec has had a chronic supply problem that has been going on for many years, long before the current buying frenzy. Before the KSG it was the RFB. My son gave up on it and bought something else. When I think of the Kel-Tec manufacturing facility, I picture all their weapons being made in a plant about the size of a two car garage. It's strange really. Kel-Tec keeps coming out with some innovative designs yet seems uninterested in selling meaningful numbers of them. I know all the arguments about increasing capacity and then being unable to utilize it but after four or five years I coul
  3. The communists are polarizing the people of this country. One state at a time.
  4. Regardless of it's AK heritage, you need to use something. I don't think it matters all that much what it is, just use whatever you like best. Your weapon will thank you.
  5. The stock is pretty much worthless but the forearm can be modified and used post conversion. A few people prefer them to the cheaper aftermarket stuff.
  6. That's about what I figured. Did see the AE .223 at Natchez. Got there just before it sold out. Couldn't make myself hit the check-out button. Looked like a rip-off, plus the shipping was high. I've already earned the "hoarder" merit badge, so I can wait for prices to fall. Guess it's back to muzzleloaders for awhile. In its own way, it's just as much fun. Slower paced, but that's good for an old guy. Get a Mosin if you want to speed up a bit.
  7. I'm unfamiliar with your product review contest My point exactly. Uh, was I supposed to review a product while following the stickies and somehow missed out on that?
  8. Just curious, but why do you want such?
  9. That is art like child porn is production theater... And in NY, Both will soon be illegal. (Saiga's and child porn) Unfortunately - production theater will live on... Artwork is subjective, that's a given. Subjectively speaking, I've seen worse alleged artwork for substantially more money but this one was in the running. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder of course, so I can only assume there's at least one person in the world who believes the aforementioned weapon is a work of art. Either that or the seller/builder just happens to be a color blind, minimally skilled, ripoff artist. E
  10. this has been reported, so as there are a number of people who liked the post I'll answer publicly. I don't feel there is a need for a stickied post as 1: as I've seen from my own product review contest stickies are often ignored. 2: people still remember Rugers actions from the 94 ban, so who forgets? Thanks for the explanation Nailbomb and I know what you're saying. However, I'm unfamiliar with your product review contest and concerning Ruger, people never forget the bad. The good though, we have a tendency to let fade.
  11. But, but, it's un-American not to want to pay more taxes! Oh, never mind.
  12. Thanks for voicing your opinions everyone. Now I know better than to ask how you feel about Bill Ruger.
  13. Consensus seems to be against "forgive and forget" near as I can tell, lol. Well, let's see if they continue to do the right thing. That would help a lot.
  14. I'm well aware of CTD's transgressions. As I said "walking the walk, this time". However, far be it from me to disdain a first ever 100,000.00 dollar donation to an organization that puts our rights first and foremost. Whatever their motivation, the end result favors us all. Kudos where it's due. Kudos, CTD.
  15. Well then! It appears CTD is walking the walk this time. Got an e-mail from them stating they are on our side. Dunno if I can link to their sight, so go check it out. I will copy and paste this though..... CHEAPER THAN DIRT! For Immediate Release: 2/14/2013BELLEVUE, WA – The Second Amendment Foundation today announced that CheaperThanDirt has made an unprecedented contribution of $100,000, making the online sporting goods retailer SAF’s first-ever Diamond Level sponsor. Created in response to the generous donation from CheaperThanDirt, the Diamond level of sponsorship indicates the h
  16. Gotta agree with you at least pertaining to some womenfolk.
  17. Loaded 200 rounds of 223 to go with the 200 rounds of 40 I did last weekend. If things go right, I plan on 200 rounds of 308 next weekend. Come on folks! I can't take care of the ammo shortage all by myself.

I'll have to get back to you on that Dad. Three of us are pooling money and a friend of mine bought the bullets and primers from our stash. Don't know exactly how much he gave for them.

  18. Unfortunately, your post is an outstanding example of "wishful thinking".
  19. Blanks and a pre-punched target work great for me. I really impress people with my sub MOA grouping.
  20. Let me clarify that Indy. The only people I was calling morons were the ones who voted him in.
  21. I got the AFG2 for my wife's carbine because her hands are smaller. She's happy with it.
