Regardless of it's AK heritage, you need to use something. I don't think it matters all that much what it is, just use whatever you like best. Your weapon will thank you.

The stock is pretty much worthless but the forearm can be modified and used post conversion. A few people prefer them to the cheaper aftermarket stuff.

I don't feel there is a need for a stickied post as 1: as I've seen from my own product review contest stickies are often ignored. 2: people still remember Rugers actions from the 94 ban, so who forgets? Thanks for the explanation Nailbomb and I know what you're saying. However, I'm unfamiliar with your product review contest and concerning Ruger, people never forget the bad.
