  1. Perhaps you should have capitalized on their warranty prior to modifying the mag, and prior to writing negative shit about their product without giving them a chance to make it right. The concensus (how many threads were there on this??) before buying them was that there is a good chance you will have to mess with them a bit to get them to run because they were made to a certain spec/size and the VEPR's varied here a bit in the magwell area. That's fine, I can handle that; I've had a Saiga 12, I know how this game goes. So I am expecting them NOT to fit my stock VEPR when I get th
  2. I have 2 SGM 8 rounders and I've sanded, adjusted, sanded some more and spent hours getting it to where I can change the mag and slide it up the magwell easily like the factory mags and it still only does it correctly maybe 1 in 4 times. The 4 5 round and 4 8 round factory mags I have work flawless without touching them. I'm to the point that I'll pay 75$ per mag NOT to have to deal with this shit.
  3. Lol, good to hear i am not the only one, what are you thinking for the replacement? My bonnesteel is solid! Did a Magpul CTR with the thicker buttpad and a RifleDynamics RD AK to M4 Stock adapter. Looks sexy as hell.
  4. Bolt, not bold : / Was wondering if there was a fix or part to make the bolt release 'button' useable. Right now I practically have to get off the gun, lean it towards me and take my pointer finger and jam the 'button' up as far as it will go to get it to release the bolt. It's very mushy and not very reliable. Is there something to fix this?
  5. Same exact thing with mine. I didn't even shoot it and took the wobbly ass stock off because I thought it would either break something or end up in my face.
  6. Anyone have an extra? Apparently I'm late to the party.
  7. I've read the thread about the mags not staying in, but my problem is that they are VERY tight as far as fitting into the rifle on both a closed and open bolt. Ordered a few of the 12 rounders that I want to cut down to 8, and on all of them I can get the mag up to where it would almost seat fully and then I literally need to bang on the bottom of it fairly hard to get it to seat. No other way will it go in; I'm also not talking about the way you tap the bottom of an AR platform mag, I mean I have to give it a decent smack. I am assuming I need to file some material, I just don't know
  8. A bit late to the party but I see plenty of pics/vids of people having other folding stocks installed on their Vepr 12. How do you go about doing this and what mechanism/part is used to attach the stock to? Thanks
  9. It's a Vepr 12 using the Bonesteel M4 tube and CTR buttstock. Was trying to figure out if I need a riser on the CTR to have the sites line up with a proper cheekweld, and if I needed even more when mounting a red dot to the receiver rail.
  10. Besides the Bonesteel stock, what folding mechanism are you guys using to put the other types of stocks on the rifles? Are they drop in?
  11. Was looking at getting a Bonesteel M4 tube only setup as I have an extra Magpul CTR sitting around. Was curious if anyone had one and if it was high enough to properly see through the irons (and possibly a red dot on the rail) or if you'd need a riser. If you need a riser, would the CTR .5 inch be enough, or how much height would need to be made up for in regards to proper sight alignment of the irons or a red dot? Thanks
  12. Was curious if it was possible to have a SVDS stock on a Vepr 12? Mine is untouched with the wood stock; if this is possible what hardware would you need besides the SVDS stock? Thanks
  13. When the wife was looking for places to start interviewing after med school I gave her a list of places I will not live under any circumstances, regardless of the pay or anything else. Illinois, California, New York, New Jersey, Maryland - no thanks. I'd rather live in another country.
  14. I have a AK74SU in 5.45 that was built by IGF and has the pinned fake supressor on it right now. I want to SBR it and from all the info online, I want to be 100% sure I'm doing this right. - Made a Trust and had everything signed/notarized - Filling out a Form 1 On the Form 1 it asks for the length in inches of the barrel and the overall rifle. The barrel is a Bluejack and the parts are from the Tula part kits from Rguns; does anyone know what to put here as far as the inches for overall length and barrel? I asked someone I knew about this and was told the barrel should be 8.19 inches
  15. Metal is going to inherently be more expensive than plastic. The additional material cost and durability I would hope would command a higher price. The only price point I've been comfortable putting out there at this stage is that I'd like them to be "less than $100." Especially in initial runs, the price of the magazines MAY be around that and will probably come down over time. The problem is that initial tooling/mold/CNC costs will have to be wrapped up in the price of initial runs. I wouldn't actually be seeing any profit until at least hundreds of these had sold. Everything would be going
