  1. I'd say go for it. For the price it's worth it. If for some reason you do run in to an issue most of the problems had with the Century builds can be easily remedied.
  2. When I got my saiga 12 from my local shop they had this trigger group installed. They had re-profiled the hammer some and the top of the trigger hook. I found the cycling to still be a little rough so I re-profiled the hammer a little better and polished it. Installed a different disconnecter as the one that came with it was not a snug fit(Also seemed possibly defective. Not sure if this was k-vars fault or not.) and polished the contact points.
  3. I agree on the auto plug standpoint. The concept is definitely good but I personally like simplicity and the less parts I have to worry about wearing out and what not the better. I ended up going with the v-plug as it was manual and had the most settings so I could fool around with it a little more than the Gunfixer plug. It did rub against the barrel a little but it went right on for the most part.
  4. I received my v-plug in the mail yesterday. It went in with little trouble. I can't wait to try it out especially with some weak loads.
  5. A good open source program for doing basic editing like that and beyond is Gimp if you're looking for something. I use it for basic editing all the time and it works great.
  6. Just wanted to say thanks Mike. It looks like my duped order got fixed and now I just have the one pending. I can't wait to try out the plug. +1 to MD Arms
  7. Yup ran in to the error. Accidentally hit the refresh button so it duped my order. Hopefully he gets the e-mail I sent to cancel one of them.
  8. He discontinued them maybe a month or two ago give or take. Basically he lowered the price to around $50 just to liquidate them and once they were gone that was it. You might be able to find them on another website or buy from someone who doesn't want theirs anymore.
  9. Put a thumb-hole stock on it and call it a day. That will make you compliant if you're looking to comply. Otherwise it is highly unlikely that you would get in trouble unless you did something else dumb to get attention. My other piece of advice is to not post something like this on a public forum but it's a little late for that. With the thumb hole stock though you're gtg and keep the mag capacity to 5 rounds.
  10. Upon reading this thread I PROMPTLY removed the lube from my puck. I figured it might help it move a little more freely but it sounds like it just creates more problems. Thanks for the input folks.
  11. I put one in mine when I first got it. So far it seems to function fine on setting one on the stock plug with most full power 2 3/4 ammo and 3 inch buckshot.
  12. I went ahead and ordered one. I was looking for something to put on the muzzle and after reading a lot about the brakes out there not really doing much as far as actually helping with recoil I figured I'd get the hot-dog roaster instead. Now I can have a tasty meal after a day at the range.
