  1. I bought a beautiful GSG-5 from macross40k and just picked it up today. It is exactly as described and actually better than I had hoped! Shipping was fast and flawless- he is one of the good guys. Thanks!!
  2. Good info and thanks! Now how about this one: just forward of the standard front sight is a raised, serrated portion of the gas block. What the hell is that for? Waldo1
  3. I've searched and not found an answer, so I'll ask the group: Is the front sight post on a newer Saiga 12 threaded-in or is it swaged/staked/etc? I'd like to remove mine and make a taller one. Thanks, Waldo1
  4. I'll take that GSG5 off your hands. I'm in central Florida. PM me with your address and I'll launch a USPS money order today. Thanks!! Waldo1 "Next I am selling my GSG-5 rifle anniversary edition. I actually have never fired it since I bought it, and don't even own any 22lr ammo. But the gun is in perfect condition, it pretty much just sat in the safe. It comes with a telescopic stock that I installed, and 3 22 round magazines (there's only 2 pictured, but I found another one the day after taking all the pictures). I'm asking $300 for it. http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c318
  5. I've searched around and can't seem to find an answer, so I'll ask the group. I've built a couple of AKs and FALs, so a gas piston system is not new to me, but I'm stumped by the action/function of the puck during the firing cycle? What does it do and why? Thanks, Waldo1
