  1. I am really happy with my MI side rail scope mount...simple and low
  2. Shhhh...they do..... Also in San Francisco.... oh myyyy
  3. I called IO which I think now is known as Royal Tiger Imports. I saw in the past they sold the complete stock sets with handguards, which I didn't need. They sold me just the stock for $19.95 plus freight. It was hollow and like I said the pad wouldn't stay on. That expanding foam worked well to solidify the stock without any added weight to speak of.
  4. Sits nice and low and I really like the locking system...holds zero. It's a bit pricy but I'm happy with it
  5. I like the Ultimak and have a couple of AK's that I use them on. I have Eotech's on them and have not experienced any malfunctions due to heat build up. I think if you had select fire options, then I think that might be a factor mostly experienced by the miltary and civilian contractors more than with semi-autos.
  6. Well that's gotta be the 3rd stock I've put on the .308 and it should be the last... It arrived and the first thing I noticed was the rubber butt pad kept falling off which bugged me to no end. I then read somewhere on this forum that one guy filled up the hollow stock with expanding foam like is used to plug up leaks and holes around the house. I filled it and it really solidified things to where I was able to attach the butt pad with some oval head screws and its rock solid. I like the length of pull and the cheek weld is much better.
  7. Well my .308 has gone through many changes.... just mounted new scope & MI rail
  8. I was considering getting one of those picatinny mounts that hooked into the rear sight mount and hinged at the rear to mount my optics. I was hoping that Ulti-Mak would eventually come out with a .308 mount but I gave up on that idea. I saw the MI side rail mount for AK's and it looked nice and low and centered. It was a little pricy but I love the way it sits on my rifle. The nice thing about it is the lever locking mount and the length of the rail which makes it easy to mount my Eotech and my NV device with decent eye relief left.
  9. Well CA has stupid gun laws as we all know! As long as you have a bullet button and no more than 10 round mags you should be fine. My buddy from work mentioned to me a new law that makes the bullet button illegal and we would have to give up our AK's. Bullshit!!! Cant remember what new law this is but its to be taking effect next July, if it passes. SB249..thank Leland Yee of....where else?......San Francisco
  10. Yeah I have one of those...it's way too high for my liking and it's off center as well...it's in the spare parts box
  11. LOL... OK this I have done but I guess I'll just see how I do out at the range. I guess I was just jumping the gun (pardon the pun) in asking. I'm still new at these ComBloc scopes. I got it cheap Thanks for answering my dumb question ..:-)
  12. I've seen a few people mention how their scopes are offset to left .. What's the best way to get these zeroed?
  13. OK OK Californias gun laws suck...BUT when the zombies attack, all that CA compliant crap can magically disappear!NY almost as nutty as CA I've heard with good ole Chuckie Schumer in congress..LOL I'm gettin' the hell outta here soon I hope. That's the plan
