Another thought: this conflict of interest reminds me of one of the grievances cited in the Declaration of Independence referring to judges. I think it kinda applies if you think about it. Here it is, referring to the kings control over judges: He has made Judges dependent on his Will alone, for the tenure of their offices, and the amount and payment of their salaries.

the cheap kind from back in the day, $200-230 for 1000rnds of x39 & $280-$300 which was high IMO for 1000rnds of tula/MC/etc. or Brass5.56. Last I checked people are still paying 1/round which is fucking stupid. Im not paying that. I have some, just not willing to shoot it unless I can replace it fairly easily and not a $1/round.

I asked my local shop guy if he could get a group together. He said his main supplier started a policy this week of a 5 case limit and the dist was out of 223/556 and 308. So not looking good here.

I really enjoyed working on them. took me 5 hrs to get 2 aks completely sandblasted and parkerized +/-20 min of talking. my forearms are sore from resting on them while I was sandblasting. Its a good hurt tho. Yeah, hes been showing me all kinds of fun stuff. Glad I got the opportunity. Definitely going to make the most of it.
