  1. I've decided that im going to replace the FSB could someone please tell me how to take my current one off
  2. thanks black, if the FSB is really easy to remove how would i go about removing the FSB to install the threaded one with the bayonet lug?
  3. In my Humble opinion yes, but im a bit of a traditionalist, but hey its a free country for now anyways if that works for you more power to you.
  4. Hey guys and gals, I'm in the process of taking my converted saiga and turning it into a more traditional looking ak, and that means muzzle break. That being said I'm stuck in a bit of a spot because im not sure which way would be easier to do it. Ive seen an FSB thats threaded for a x39 rifle, but im not sure how to remove my current FSB or how to install the new one. I've also seen a kit for threading the barrel which looks easy but im a bit nervous because i dont wanna screw up my rifle. Right now im leaning towards getting the new FSB simply because I kinda would like a bayonet lug, but I'
  5. stupid question... is there any way to tell if its threaded without cutting the sleve attached to the FSB off?
  6. I have just one more noob question and then i think im done and hopefully i'll actually find my mind. I found a new FSB for my saiga which has a bit thats threaded already attached to it which would save me some time money and the possibility of doing it wrong and messing up my rifle. Can anyone tell me if there would be any problem with me installing this part onto my saiga? http://akpartskits.com/cart/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=5_12&products_id=52 I'm pretty sure that there wouldnt be an issue but i would like a second opinion from those more experianced wit

  8. I've seen a lot of guys who took thier saiga and made them into Ak-103 clones(wood and poly), this is what i would like to do with my converted saiga 7.62x39 I know it will be some work and take some time and money but I really want to do this. That being said im pretty clueless as to how to do it. I would appriciate some pointers on what i need and were to buy the things i need to turn it into what i would like it to be. I do believe that i have a threaded barrel, but its covered up at the moment. I know i'll need a new gas block for it and that ill have to do something to the barrel but othe
  9. Thanks for the tip postapoc by the way your sig is hilarious
  10. oh i thought they made a 7.62 version too, maybe i just didnt read it right, thank you for clearin that up for me i would have been sooo pissed if i couldnt use a drum
  11. thanks for the info, if anyone else has anything to add it would be appriciated also anyone know if there is a way i could get a bayonette lug for a saiga?
  12. I recently bought a converted Saiga 7.62x39 rifle and i have a couple of newbie questions regarding it. Normally id be able to figure it out but the only rifles ive ever used modified or fixed were bolt and lever action so im kinda stumped as far as these semi's go. Please forgive me if they're asked somewhere else i looked a bit and didnt see these asked and im stumped. 1. I have seen several rifles in the gallery that have the standard ak style foregrips and id like to put those on my rifle and was wondering if there is anything special i have to have, do, or buy to put them on a saiga.
