  1. Sell it to me , start building an AR and call it a day.
  2. Funny I kinda thought I was some sorta Bumpfire master. I also have a G2 FCG and it's crazy easy to bumpfire from the shoulder. You're not gonna pick the rifle up and start slinging burst downrange if you absolutely don't want to but doing so is not much effort. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hGC--NoDDz4
  3. Nice video! The muzzle flash is fucking badass What kind of ammo were you shooting? Thanks, I was using 55gr Remington UMC. If I keep this one I want to take a bit off the barrel add an ace front sight and have a brake welded on to make it a legal 16.1. The flash does look cool but I definately don't want it if this puppy has to put in work.
  4. Here's the actual first vid shot. Sorry about the angle , the person holding my phone did'nt know how to video with it. The malfunctions my fault because the mag was'nt fully seated. I'm pretty satisfied with the gun but it'll be taking a long rest when my MSAR E4 gets here this week.
  5. I should've posted this on this forum when I shot it but here's a dremel installed MSA adapter running PMags taking a short cut through thirty rounds bumping off my shoulder.
  6. Sounds par for the course. I used to work at a place known for the very high likelyhood of going hands on . The events became so common that it only made sense to keep my black cut and frisk gloves on all the time. A few weeks later wearing the gloves was banned unless doing a search because the gloves were intimmidating. Of course not as intimidating as getting Hep C blood or HIV on your hands , but intimidating. Police Departments are run by appointed puppets of City hall. If your mayor is a major puss , the policies of the agency will be just as puss.
  7. Just got my MSA adapter installed and I'm pretty proud of this one. Gonna follow up with either a .308 or a 5.45 if I can find one.
  8. Corbin this was my main concern when I first got the MSA adapter and learned I was gonna have to remove some material from my trunnion and inside the receiver. Like you I believe, I have always used the slightly modified Bulgy double circle 10 mags and have been extremely pleased with them. They have always run 100% in my gun and fit like a glove. To answer your question, yes the mags I have modified the feed lips on do fit a slight bit loose now, due to the milling of the trunnion where the feed lips seat against, but they do in fact still function and feed rounds just fine. Gotta thank Mas
  9. Nathan, my adapter came in today. I'll post a pic when I get a chance.
  10. Spetznaz, He should'nt have a problem with the scopes at all in his checked or stowed luggage. If he's used the scopes while firing they'll probably open the bag and check because the sniffer will alert to the trace residue. Still not a problem but always the chance someone will turn it into what I call a GBI ( Great Big Investigation). The knives are a different issue. The best possible scenario for him would be to ship his knives. Not only to avoid dealing with airport security , but to avoid thieving Ramp Rats who may want to tax him for his gear. I did my purgatory time at our Cat
  11. Back in 94-95 we had a rash of "Travel Document" incidents. They were carrying these http://thecountyguard.org/right-2-drive-handout.html . Only problem was that most of them were also carrying and planting pipebombs.
  12. Clint Eastwood, Flash (comic book character), Solidus (comic book character), & starts off subtle & well spoken... It would fit the M.O. The Screen name "Solidus" is taken from chemistry. As I said earlier I am of the people and I represent Law enforcement at the same time. I hold myself to both standards simultaneously. ( A societal solidus) I got'cha. Just for background, we have a great troll who comes here & works the forum every now & again. He really is good, & tends to last a while, playing the forum members off each other like a master composer, at least
  13. Regardless, "sobriety check points" do exist, and they're just as fucked up. To say that , is to assume that you actually understand the workings and principle of a checkpoint. I'd argue that you don't understand the way a checkpoint works. Sun Tzu said "If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle." If you can demonstrate that you understand how a checkpoint actual
