  1. Does anyone have any experience converting a USAS-12 mag to a Saiga 12 ??
  2. I had about the same results as you when I tried it. I couldn't get a crisp bend where the two slid together. I agree a cast poly bottom would be very clean and easy for someone in the injection business. JimmyC
  3. Hi BattleRifleG3, Will these fit on an unmodified 308 or only the converted? Thanks,
  4. No,,, but she certainly looks eastern european!!
  5. Thanks for the info, did the search thing,,,information overload!! Found lot's of stuff but didn't find out the why? Getting my 3rd Saiga this week (7.62), going to start converting after this purchase (makes 3). JimmyC
  6. I saw a thread that had a link to a photo album of a guy who has Saiga's and has his "neighbor" modeling with various weapons. Unfortunitaly I didn't bookmark this site and can't find the original thread to follow it back. Anyone seen this thread, the "neighbor was from eastern europe. Thanks,,
  7. I know this is an "newbie" question, but here it is: #1. Why do other AK's come into the country with pistol grips, big mag's and the Saiga series have to have a specific parts count to be modified like other AK's?? #2. Will other AK mag's fit the Saiga 7.62 or is modification necessary, how about the 223 Saiga?? Thanks, I'm sure this has been covered in the various threads.
  8. Sold to JimmyC. Payment sent Certified Mail, USPS Money Order. Thanks, Jim
  9. Hi Griz, thanks, I think I'll wait until I have a larger stock of 308 mag's (which is petty small right now).
  10. I've seen several mentions on the topic of increasing the stock 308 mag from 8 rounds to 10. I haven't seen any actual tip's on this. After disassembling my stock mag it looks like all that needs to be done is to cut down the pointy things on the footplate of the mag. Is the the right way to go?? thanks,
