I shimmed my scope rail--- seems to work. Hmm I know it 'looks' canted due to the slant of the receiver bottom but have you put in a vice and tested with a level? No.. but i had to adjust my scope all the way then use mill dot to get it back on paper so i used masking tape while at range to raise the picatiny rail at front screw to see if it helped..and it did. Making thin sheet metal shim for permanent fix.

Yeah that happend to me this past weekend wasnt expecting it. The range officers glared at me but i found if i pulled trigger completly then reset it didnt happen, but if i floated mid way and reset and i could really start rockin.

YYeah thats funny! AR buddies were making jokes until they were ftf, Fte and ftl-ing and i was steady popping my target! Nice rifle do you favor the sporter set-up? oh by the way thought it was a auto match?

Good luck with the match just to reiterate i was touting good consistency with cheap ammo. Went to the range today and again 2-3" groups but consistant groups. The only time i had flyers was when i discovered my scope mounts were loose . When tightend back up zero returned. Even with warm barrel this 16" saiga even impressed my AR FAITHFUL BUDDIES who by the the way were shooting high end factory and hand loads.

Yeah, but is it 7 bucks a box???? Thats what i'm talking about! I guess my point is with 7 dollars a box ammo i am pleased with this rifle, and yes if want to spend more i could get even better results.

shot brown bear 308 fmj..... perfect! Bought a 308 w/conversion and it was flawless at 50 yrds 1.5 - 2" and a sweet 2" at 100 great gun, and ammo was consistent barring my to much coffee shooting performance. does any have the same results w/ 16" and surefire 25rd mag?
