  1. Unscrew the gas plug and clean out debris. Add some gun solvent or CLP and push the puck to the rear. Rack the charging handle and let fly. Repeat. If it hasn't loosened enough field strip the gun and use a long wooden dowel to push/tap it out. Be gentle. I have to admit, I have been remiss about cleaning this gun. It was caked with garbage. The plug came out no problem, but that damn puck was stuck in there tight. I tried letting it sit in solvent, but that didn't help either. It's obviously air tight as the solvent level didn't drop while it was pooled up on top of it. Anyway

  4. I have a buddy that has gone crazy with tax stamps lately. I'm feeling left out. Short barrel this and suppressed that... I was kicking around the idea of shortening that giant 19" barrel on there. Legally of course. How short can you go and what, if anything needs to be done to the gun to make it work properly after that?
  5. Excellent right up. I have a question being a complete newb to the S12. I just picked one up a couple weeks ago. At the time or purchase, I also bought the Tapco collapsible stock packaged with a pistol grip. It took about 30 mins to put everything on and required no modification to the receiver. I tapped out the stock rear buttstock with a rubber mallet and nut driver. I then pushed in the new tapco stock. I had to drill three pilot holes into the plastic on the inserted end of new stock and re-installed the three screws into the holes where the original stock screws went. The p
