  1. I would be cautious about trying to insert a clear plastic window, especially lexan. While being extremely resistant to shattering, it is very easy to scratch. In no time it wouldn't be hard to have a hazed up window on the side, which pretty much eliminates the "neato" factor.
  2. I have this suspician that my chances of getting a new s12 (or any saiga) in the next 12 months is slightly less realistic than having them delivered by the tooth fairy.
  3. would it be absurd or offensive for me to suggest/offer/propose the idea of making a chart or some kind of grid listing the parts, and then us made replacements. The whole concept is pretty tasking from my angle "don't own one yet, and don't want to put my butt in the sling from my own ignorance".
