  1. + 1. The gun shows here in Tucson are lame. Every thing other then ammo is overpriced by $30-$100. Ammo is the only thing that's price is on the level with the rest of the the market.
  2. I cant believe nobody has mentioned the vest guy yet.......... he is a paying business member after all. the vest guys saiga page I haven't used any of this products but i've heard nothing but good things from people who have. Hes got every thing from 5rd pouches to drug bags, and iirc he just finished making a saiga gear vest.
  3. so when we going to see the aftermarket parts kit?
  4. Thanks for all the info thus far. I too am in the market for a safe. I live in an upstairs apartment, so getting a heavy ass safe up 2 flights of stairs isn't something i'm forward to. Im not really concerned with a fully equipped robbery crew coming in and using a torch and grinder to rip it open, its more then punk teenagers and random roving drug attic passing though looking for a quick score. Also thanks for the info about the fire protection, that was somthing i always put a lot of focus on. Glad to hear that its Bull Sh*t unless you full on 2+ hours and such.
  5. Last week when i went shooting, i really thought about making something like this. I use the magpul AFG on a chaos quad rail. After about 150 rounds my left palm/ thumb area was a bit raw. the rails acted like a saw blade. I really dig it. If you need testers please let me know.
  6. I too used the "rubber" gray disks that came with my dremel kit. It worked really well at getting rid of the factory finish on the bolt and carrier, and left a really bright finish. only down side is it left a kind of streak with each pass.
  7. I've seen microlon "gun juice" used before on an handgun or two and it seems to work really well for a dry lube. I've never seen it on a long gun tho. Anyone have any experience with it? Microlon.com
  8. Purple....... beef.....? what the hell is going on? lol congrats on getting god mode.
  9. Here's an old pic of me and one of my many balls Tats have been redone and the snake is now twice that size.
  10. Its a custom car shop so they have just about every type of welding device i've heard of, so i have lots of options. Just the 3 rivets from removing the scope mount. I used a receiver block so the 4 holes has a use. Thanks for the info.
  11. I plan on bringing my s-12 to a local auto shop that does welding, to put on a left side charging handle. During my conversion i removed the scope mount and redid the rivets (most crappaly). I figure while its getting some welding done might as well have the guy fill the rivet holes so i can have a nice sexy smooth receiver side. My question is should i drill out the rivets and have him use some stock he has or can the rivets just get "blended" in and gridded smooth. Also i feel kind of dumb asking this but do i have to remove the FCG? It was a pain the ass and my finger tips to get the bolt h
  12. After reading through this thread, i was wondering if moving the handle to the left side would have any negative effects. I didn't know if it was a design feature to use the handle as a shell deflector such as that on a Ar-15. Im guessing nothing major, other then the low brass rounds ejecting more like falling out 2-4 o'clock. Doesn't seem to be a big issue right? edited for spelling and grammar .
  13. I like the cheek pad on the stock. Who makes it and where where can i buy one? And thats an amazing paint job, you may have one more customer in a month or two.
